DIY...Big Brake Kit for Under 2k

I do not believe I had any flexing. I bleed the brakes myself also and there wasn't anything noticeable but I never specifically looked to see if there was any flexing. I do remember looking at the centering just through the naked eye and it looked centered. Did you drill out the knuckle to...

Dang that sucks! Maybe bring it to a shop and ask what they think? Would probably be same price vs new lines?

Importing Model S USA to Canada

It was very worth it last July but market has changed significantly so might not be anymore? I searched all the car sites like cars.com auto trader etc for the exact spec I was looking for and a price below avg mrkt. Found one at a MB dealership, must have been a trade in

Dan O'Dowd’s 2023 Super Bowl Dawn Project Commerical

I'm not agreeing with the ad but how is it different for tesla to stage their FSD in promo videos back in 2016 as testified by their engineer in court? Isn't this just equal playing field?

    Instrument cluster fan replacement

Your instrument cluster doesn't have this fan, so no it is not the same noise/fan. You will have to take everything apart and find the source.

What are your most common intervention scenarios?

Randomly turning on turning signal when there is no where to turn or change lanes, can't keep it on to not confuse other drivers around me

    Good deal on a P100D?

To determine if it's a good deal take a look at the for sale forum here on TMC for similar cars. Also do a search country wide on sites like cars.com for the same specs. Only you can determine if its a good deal.

    Good deal on a P100D?

Ya the FSD capable thing is crazy confusing but it does sound like it has it if it says included package. It should look like the attached picture to have it.

MYLR 19" Winter wheels and tyres from Costco instead of Tesla

Ended up going with PMC tire. Their pricing one of the lowest and customer service was top notch, they will install TPMS, mount and balance and send them to your doorstep!

    Do I lawyer up?

They are more happy to cancel your order than to retain you as a customer. I went through similar situation and got no where. Only chance you have is if you fall within the timeframe of first attempt at delivery like someone mentioned above. Bottom line, Telsa customer service is terrible.

    CCS Adapter for North America

Are public ccs chargers capable of 650a though? I thought their max was 500a or something like that. Maybe these adapters will be used at the new css Supercharger then since we can confirm they are still 500vdc. Maybe the Korean adapters won't be safe to use in that scenario?
  18. L

    CCS Adapter for North America

I'm going to wildy speculate that it's rated for 800v and telsa is working on 800v battery for the S and X. I bet cyber truck will be 800v
  19. L

    CCS Adapter for North America

Yes, 500v and 300 amp DC is 150kw which is why I find it interesting that they say 250kw for NA. Someone that has received North American version can post a picture of the specs?
  20. L

    CCS Adapter for North America

Looks like the Korean adapter is rated for 150kw but the North American says 250kw on the order page. Maybe there actually is a difference?

Vehicle fraudulently transferred out of account without permission

This is a pretty wild story, but I can totally see it happening and wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't happened before! The biggest and most frustrating part of all this is that you can't physically show or talk to anyone that cares, it kind of summarizes the customer service you get from Tesla...

    2022.20.17 installing

Only 1 person on teslafi, doesn't look like they will be downgrading. Looks like we are waiting for Fsd to catch up

Have any new testers with a safety score above 80 received the FSD Beta 10.69.2.2 update yet?

Just noticed 2022.28.2 go to the beta on teslafi! Maybe there is hope after all of a downgrade?

Have any new testers with a safety score above 80 received the FSD Beta 10.69.2.2 update yet?

Ya I have 28. 2 download, now I'll have it annoy me forever while I wait for beta to get past 24.8 Arrrggggg

Have any new testers with a safety score above 80 received the FSD Beta 10.69.2.2 update yet?

I'm glad they made that being on a lower software version is a requirement very clear and obvious....

Have any new testers with a safety score above 80 received the FSD Beta 10.69.2.2 update yet?

Any new testers have firmware greater than Fsd? Like 24 or 28? I have 24.8 and 28.2 is ready to install :(
  28. L

    FSD Beta 10.69

Is it correct that you can't downgrade to Fsd? As a new person wanting to get beta and having 24.8 I shouldn't install 28.2 and have to wait for Fsd to catch up to 24.8?

HV Battery died and got a replacement with a bigger battery...

Careful, that's a guess. To be sure, check the part number / sticker on the battery pack. It is visible behind one of the wheels (Google it if you don't know where to look). If it says 350v then yes it is the new chemistry.

I can no longer recommend Tesla. Their Service is the Worst

Everyone who is ok with service the way it is... what's your distance to a service center? Have you had an big repairs done out of warranty? Imo those two factors play a big part in what is acceptable to you. Also to those that say service center isn't a dealership and doesn't charge you for...

If your computer in the car says it supports ccs then it should work. If you don't know where to look Google some videos.

    MS 100D battery drain

I tried it, didn't work to put it to sleep. I was just testing it to see if I'm missing out on anything anyway, didn't find that I need it
  35. L

    MS 100D battery drain

Does teslafi have a chart of when your car is sleeping? Teslamate does and it's a great tool to quickly see if something is going on with the 12v or just not sleeping.
  36. L

    MS 100D battery drain

Did you start using any data/tracking apps recently? I tried Tessie app recently and noticed my car didn't sleep at all and I was losing same as you claim. Breaking that link let the car sleep again and I don't lose the energy anymore. If you didn't, maybe there is something else not allowing...

    Cancel ESA - Success Stories?

Imo do everything you can, document it all electronically and if they end up doing nothing in the coming months do a chargeback (check with your cc company how long you have for doing a chargeback). You will have proof you did everything in your power to get it resolved.

Used 2019 Model S Raven vs New Model Y

Improvements were made June 2020. Then model year 2021 started in November of 2020. Then in February? Of 2021 the refresh was released with the yoke steering wheel which had a lot of changes. So if you see a yoke, it's the refresh and latest and greatest (but generally more expensive, unless...

Used 2019 Model S Raven vs New Model Y

Additional filters: I'd do less than 30k miles for warranty purposes (depends on how much you will drive also, so should look for less miles if you drive a lot), warranty is 50k miles. Vehicle built after June 2020, increased range and I believe faster Supercharging but this is not confirmed. I...

Used 2019 Model S Raven vs New Model Y

Imo I'd seek out a late 2020 or early 2021 model s not through tesla (auto trader, cars.com, etc). You can pick one up with Fsd for low 80s, if you are patient and check often probably even high 70s. Only benefit of buy through tesla is the extra year of warranty but not being able to see the...

MYLR 19" Winter wheels and tyres from Costco instead of Tesla

I purchased tpms from aliexpress for $50 Canadian. It'll be easily 5x that from Tesla. The sensors arrived in a week and even have the tesla part number on them! But mine are the 433mhz ones not bluetooth, I saw lots of bluetooth ones there as well.
