    1M Reservations by Q1 Call

    They are going to need to ramp much faster. With the current start of production and rate of reservations it seems quite likely that there will be a 3+ years backlog of 250K/year production.

    Unless they announce the new plan to accelerate the ramp.

    Potential BOLT customers being suctioned up by Tesla !

    GM seems to be paying people to write favorable articles: Tesla Model 3 vs. Chevrolet Bolt: Battle of the long-range EVs But could they also be paying people to tweet and comment? If not, I'm truly perplexed by some of the discussions I'm reading around the web comparing the Bolt vs Model 3...

    @34thrain Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of what happened. No one at Tesla thought it would be this high before part 2 of the unveil. Does this mean 2M in 2020?

    10 hours since his last tweet about 3K reservations per hour. I think this approximate rate might last a week => 3 * 24 * 7 + 232 = 736

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

    Yeah, this is the most amazing part for the most people are still completely unaware of Tesla. I talked to several random people on my way back from the event and most people only vaguely know of Tesla and have absolutely no idea about the Model 3. I think the base Model 3 can directly compete...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

    Regarding the strategy behind sight unseen reservations, I think it is a great way to gauge ( show off ) the brand's value. Tesla is already more than just a car company ( i.e. Tesla Energy ) and the more they establish themselves the more likely they will be to enter more and more industries...

    GM Battles Tesla in the Electric Car Market Does this guy know that the model 3 is supposed to start at a lower price then a bolt?

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

    This may already be priced in, based on BMW market cap and cars sold Tesla is priced as if it is delivering 1M cars a year. I'm holding though because I think Tesla in the long run will reap much larger margins then other automakers and I think it is very likely that Tesla will continue to...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2016

    I called a few Tesla stores today to try to get any information I could about the demand. Everyone the stores I called is expecting large numbers ( hundreds ). Here is a paraphrasing of the most interesting response from the Arizona store: ... since it was announced we have received hundreds...
