Hey,
just read on Teslarati about this Interface design by Abduzeedo.
Just wanted to know what you guys think about it. It definitly shows what is possible for future software updates.
Especially as it seems that the Model 3 has the processing power to run such a heavy ui.
Best Regards,

Asked why there are no fingerprint doors, they would make so much sense:
No key to loose
Autodriver select (music, seat config, etc.)
No key to pass to drivers when lending out and so on...
Key can still be optional
Would also be big tesla news if they would introduce it...
That's true, but I'm 100% sure tesla engineers have figured this out. From looking at the pictures it seems like the top half of the display is the same height as the instrument cluster in the espace, but after all we can only be sure after sitting in the car.
It's impossible to be 100% sure...
The dashboard is just fine. Renault has a dashboard like this since 2002:
To all who think speed etc. in middle is unpractical; It's actually better than behind the wheel and always visible, not hidden behind the steering wheel, also in the field of view when looking at the street.
I did not...
I think you are right Troy. Especially excluding paint and wheel options makes sense.
My guess is that Tow Hitch Option will be added in 6-9 month as a service center upgrade for all model 3.
Somewhere between 300-400, that could be right, as that was the time where all the stores opened and the queues got processed.
I was just checking, got my reservation mail at 9:06 so the reservation was ca. at 9:00.
Love everything just hope the display will be integrated in the console. Not the way it's mounted in the prototype, but interiour is changing anyway.
Display in the middle is perfectly fine.
Renault Espace has it since decades.
If it's good placed it's totally in the field of view...

Yes, thats true for the factory in California, but theyre planning to build/buy factories in europe and asia when model 3 demand is high, then there will be capacity left in california for model y i guess.
could be, as there is also the inter
Interesting is also the grey car in the middle of the image at the top of the article.
That's not the Model S, is it?
