Yeah, that’s why I thought of eating the cost. In reality, since I’m already on the hook for a $500 deductible, I’m eating $1700. If the claim was to be way more which I have heard for Tesla repairs, I’d use my insurance.
It’s not esurance but I have Progressive as my insurer. When I stupidly messed up my forward passenger side door, the Progressive adjuster suggested I use the local Tesla Body repair facility. That kind of surprised me because you’d think they’d try to steer me to a shop with more favorable...
This has been happening for me the last couple of days. I’ve tried turning Bluetooth on and off and that hasn’t worked. There have been a few posts above this so maybe a current update is the cause?
I’m not sure of your daily usage but maybe you could schedule to charge your during the hours your appliances aren’t likely to be used? I have my charge schedule to begin at 12:00am which insures no appliances will be in service and the rates are cheaper.
I must be a cheap date because the I-Pace I configured came in around $80k. That’s still more than I can or want to pay for a car. The I-Pace is a good looking vehicle. I’m not sure about Jaguars now but I remember cars from the U.K. had electrical issues and this car is a pure electric car...
Or they actually aren’t sold out. I ordered the wheel cap lug nut set when it supposedly had a long backlog and got them within a week. This was also the case for the Tesla cord organizer.
If you really want Silver Metallic, that’s good but could you possibly end up being charged extra for SM which is considered a “special order” color, thus costs more than white.
As much as that insurance is going to cost, they better be high paying jobs.
Luckily for them they won’t have to pay for gas. Which brings another thought to mind; how and where to charge all of them?
I thought I could live with the 120v outlet but it takes way too long to even top it off. I’m going with a NEMA 14-30 outlet. I was told I can’t run my stove and charge my car at the same I could trip a breaker. I already have my charging start at 9:30pm to take advantage of the lower rates at...
I’m in the same boat as the OP except I have 100A service. My neighbor is a licensed electrician and he told me the same thing. He said I could install a 14-30 outlet but couldn’t run my stove or clothes dryer when charging. That wouldn’t be a problem because I schedule my charging when those...
I’ll give the service center a call and see what they say. My documentation says I should have it and looking at the car’s control panel it appears I have it, but as you say; something is missing.
Thanks all for your replies.
is a call or visit to a service center in order? When I first took delivery it supposedly was calibrating since then nothing. I’ve enjoyed driving it so EAP wasn’t a priority but since I shelled out 5k it should at least be available to me.
What steps need to be taken to get the V9 software update? I got the email last week announcing it but didn’t see how it was going to be implemented. I read somewhere that another email would sent so one could give permission for the update to their car. Is that correct? I’ve connected to my...
I’m sure this is a dumb question but since I can’t see the rear end of my car, when the car is on hold at at stoplight, are the brake lights on? Also when slowing down with regenerative braking, do the brake lights come on?
I assume to shift into reverse I pull the stalk down once. That has never worked. I’d do it again and maybe I end up in N or D. I then push it up and end up in R. That’s obviously not right is it? What am I doing wrong?
it appears there’s excess inventory of RWD Model 3s. 1 year of Supercharging is now being offered for inventory cars to help move them. What happens to the cars built in 2018 when 2019 begins? They become one year old cars and one year old cars get discounted to help get rid of them. I think...
