Don't use Tesla's leasing company US Bank. They are horrible to work with. They lack disclosure, impossible to get in touch with. Send incorrect documentation. A bureaucratic nightmare to work with. And yes, overpriced.

Regarding the tax credit; I would not count on a full tax credit based on the timing of the reservation. Tesla said it will be a west-east rollout and existing owners get first option.

The autopilot works well in the rain as long as it is turned on. Once you turn it off it sometimes has a difficult time finding the lines in the road again to allow you to turn it back on. In these instances I take my foot off the gas making it easier to find the auto pilot function.

I may be paying through the nose between the lease and extra miles I will put on but am not confident what resale value will look like in 3 years and would want the updated battery/autopilot hardware advancements at that time. I do get the business write off on additional miles as well. G-d...

Received my external ez pass and tied to front bumper. It interferes with autopilot. Next stop will be behind the nose cone. Still trying to find the solution.

Absolutely. I am able to make more calls while driving, peak at my bb, eat breakfast/lunch without worrying about the mess and generally arrive at my appts with less stress and not as tired. Having said that, this is still in beta test and you need to be aware of your surroundings.

Just don't use US bank, the lease partner with Tesla. They are not above board.

Found that out after I signed the lease. US Bank should have been more upfront when asked directly. They misinformed me on this and have had poor customer service on the follow up to get full disclosure.

I got the ticket(s) because I had not registered the temporary plate with ez pass. I was waiting for the permanent one.

I tend to agree. I'm new to the forum and got myself worked up reading all these reports about a new facelift coming only 1 week after my delivery. This speculation turned out to be unproductive and have since learned my lesson about the Tesla rumor mill. Very happy with my model S.
