Thought I'd share a cheap alternative to getting the center console from Tesla here. It's a Babies R Us Car Organizer that you can get for $14.99. It's a little wide on one side but if you bend it like a bill on a baseball cap it fits snugly. Below are some pics.

I'm fine with being put in a rental if no loaners are available but I find it hard to believe that no one had returned a service loaner throughout the entire week. I'm beginning to think that they really are giving preferential treatment to Model X owners as ohmman pointed out earlier.

That's funny you mentioned that because I'm pretty sure the Model X owner who arrived before me left in a loaner.

So I guess I'm not alone. Perhaps they're offloading them so they can have a new fleet after the rumored model S refresh. In any case, I hope going through a rental service won't be the norm.

When I took my MS into the service center for some body work on Monday they said they were out of Tesla loaners so they offered an Enterprise rental (I ended up with a Hyundai Tuscon). I requested to have them contact me as soon as a loaner vehicle was available but was given daily updates...
