Yes it will. I use my Model 3 fob with Dad's Model Y. I have the older passive Model 3 Fob and the newer active 3/Y Fob. Both work with both 3 and Y.

Have you tried the idea PoitNarf mentioned? This is to go to a Tesla service center parking lot and connect to their Wifi to see if it gives you ServicePlus via Service menu. You could then try adding the module. I wish I had this suggestion before deinstalling and returning my module.

For what is worth, I talked to Tesla rep on Friday and she said that the module is now tied to the VIN when purchased from Tesla and can then be DIY installed. Take that with a grain of salt.

The last part of the message isn't visible. Does it say that the purchased (not installed yet) module will be pre-linked to your car when you receive it? Could you DIY install the Homelink module if purchased from Tesla directly?

I removed the module and then went into service and ran the enable process and received same message. Looks like device isn't recognized or not responding and is defective. I ended up returning to eBay seller. May buy from Tesla like OP.

I installed the homelink module per the thread on a 2023 Model 3P. Connector was in middle of frunk. After going into service mode to enable, I get a failure message on trying to enable the module. Any ideas? Is it possibly a bad module? I got it off of eBay with mount and bolt.

They could use the emergency front door release (mechanical) handle. Issue would be overcoming the water pressure to get the doors open.

I use 303 Aerospace protectant on the liner in my Santa Cruz pickup which most likely is same material as Cybertruck bed liner. I also use it to clean the track which has smoothed opening and closing. I spray it on a microfiber cloth, wipe on, wait a few minutes and wipe it with clean towel.
