Based on my prior experience the miles should be added the same day of taking delivery.

I ordered on 12/1 without using referral, called Tesla on 12/3 to add my own referral, they did it and i can see my name in my referred friends list. Pretty sure you can add it after placing order but I’ll see what happens when i take delivery.

Just get your referral link, use it to go to order page and place your order. I did call and ask them to add it after the fact and they did it with no question asked. If you Google it you can find people have done it before.

I wonder what happens for people already having some free supercharging miles from the referrals, do the miles get pushed into 2022 or just expired as is? I have several thousand such free miles expiring in late 2021, and I just ordered a model Y on Dec.1, which is not delivered yet. Now even if...

I've had a map update recently I don't think it notifies you. I found out only by checking the software tab in the car, it showed a new map version pending download once you connect to wifi.

Yeah I had CarPlay in my volt too, used it exclusively for navigation. Haven’t felt the need for either since I got model 3 (been almost a year).
