    What's your 90%?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how it is in the US, but we have 3 sets of numbers here in the UK Rated (a high number which I never seem to get) Estimate (I believe this is based on driving profile) Typical (This is the reading I was referring to and while this is lower than the rated...

    What's your 90%?

I'm really confused. I've got an S70, which has done about 3.5k miles. When new, 100% was about 220mi and 90% was 198, which was what i expected. However, 4 months in, the typical 90% is down to between 192 and 193 miles, which is disappointing. Before I contact the Service Centre about this...

Hi All, I've had a Model S 70 for about 2 months and with 2k miles on the clock, here're my thoughts The car is pretty amazing - absolutely love driving it. In general, battery consumption is pretty awesome. However, I seem to be struggling when I have the windscreen demister on. The...

Model S Paint Protection / Coating in London

Thanks for the response. I've looked into these, but still don't have a clear recommendation on who to use. I do want to get her detailed/paint protected. Anyone had experience with detailing around London? Cheers

Model S Paint Protection / Coating in London

Thanks for the reply. I'm concerned about a botched job ruining the paintwork. When I say local car-wash, I probably do them a disservice. They're based in Canary Wharf and used to dealing with a variety of supercars. They reckon it'll take 8 hours (give or take) and the damage will be around...

Model S Paint Protection / Coating in London

Hi Everyone, I've just had my Model S (Deep Blue Metalic) delivered and am absolutely loving it. Unfortunately, it got covered in tree sap at the weekend. While I've had it washed since, I've started thinking about paint protection/detailing. My local carwash has recommended AutoGlym/Supagard...

    Question about maps

Bit disappointing that we'd have to enter the destination twice. Just wish that they'd enable car play or Android auto. Bottom line is that none of the car systems (any brand) Are near the quality is the mobile phone interfaces

    Question about maps

Thanks everyone for the answers. The navigion bit sounds rubbish to be honest. That said, if it does use googles traffic data to plan routes, I'll be pretty pleased. I currently use google maps on my phone and I guess I'll just have to run the two side be side on the new car when it arrives...

    Question about maps

Got my model-s on order, expecting delivery in July and am very excited. One question I havent been able to find a clear answer to is whether or not tesla uses google's traffic information for navigation, route planning etc. The website says MapSimple, intuitive Google Maps™ with real time...

    2016 Model S Refresh Mega-thread

I've also noticed (from the configurator) that the range is increased on the standard 70 (the one I ordered) from 260 -> 282. Wonder if us existing orderers will benefit from the range increase as well. Very excited :-)

    2016 Model S Refresh Mega-thread

First time poster, so go easy on me please :-) I ordered by Model S here in the UK back in February (before the original price increase), but for a variety of reasons, couldn't take delivery until July. The recent price increase is staggering - it's about 6k GBP (10k USD) more than what I paid...
