The ride quality advantage of 18" should carry over into the highland, as a constant. The suspension improvements could diminish in effectiveness with time/wear, as with most cars.

Anyone noticing a significant improvement in the ride quality, over bumps and potholes? My 19 LR (125K miles) has become a bit of a rattlebox, with a go-cart suspension.

Not implying that this is why Tesla may be doing it, but Drive-by-Wire would be an option for achieving speed sensitive steering response. This may be a possible solution to having a non-round steering wheel, and eliminating the need for full rotations to turn.

Please add, or offer, a softer riding suspension. Don't want to pay twice the price for an S just for the ride.

Like others have suggested, consider the 18" wheel option for slight ride improvement. I have the 19" sport wheels and regret not going with the 18". The 18" wheels also provide a slight increase in range. While these cars may be considered a "luxury" vehicle, not your typical luxury car ride...

Installed rain deflector, cleaned the evaporator coil, TWICE consecutively with Kool-It Foam Cleaner, installed new filters, and was minty fresh. Washed the car 1 week later and odor returned... The same dead fish/smelly sock odor occurred on first use of AC after wash, then quickly went away...

Did some testing with placement of my smartphone, several small tablets (7", 10"). It appears that the most practical device to use is a "standard" size smart phone, tablets too large for practical viewing through the steering wheel. The numbers in the demo are good enough for this size screen...

Continental Procontact RX CSI - the OEM tire

Just had my 3rd set of Continental Procontact RX CSI installed - 235/40 R19 - Discount Tire. First 2 sets lasted 42,500 miles each. Rotated every 5,000 miles, drive conservative, 80% highway 70 mph, alignment at 45,000 miles. Lifetime 240 wh/mi. - works for me.

According to Discount Tire, who phoned Pirelli, the P Zero All Season Plus Elect in 235/40-R19 (stock size) will not be available for another 90 days.
