I know Priit received his car same time we did. In our case, we ordered a new M3 exactly same spec, as our current M3, reason is the numerous incremental and progressive upgrades made over the last 3 years its like a "new" car.

Out of interest I asked Tesla for a trade-in price at the time of ordering, and they offered $65k but dealer trade-in's are always below market, so I decided not to trade-in and keeping the Model S until the new S arrives.

No, mine has a build date of 15/07, and I was notified & invoiced on 16/07 (the next day),. Seems like a quick and efficient process, giving us our VIN and EDD as soon as the car is built.

Just received received a call from my SA and was advised that our M3P ordered 8/01/22 will be delivered sometime after 30 June, they will update delivery timing on the app soon. Good news, at least I now have a name and a phone number for my SA.

Agree with @Priit, I also got my car in Q3 and no issues with paint or battery or delivery or anything. Also agree with @Priit that more cars are delivered defect free than we realise - people seem to post when they have a complaint and therefore unfairly skewing the product reputation.

Yours may well beep, and that's OK if you prefer the reassurance. However we will ring when we get the M3 and tell them its a metallic windscreen and to use the photo option. They have a list of all the car types with metallic windscreen and Tesla is on the list. We've not ever put an E-tag on...

E-tag not required for Model S, so I'm assuming it's the same for Model 3. They have a metallic windscreen so toll operators use the camera option at no extra fee. Applies throughout Australia.
