Just wanted to say thank you for staying at the supercharger in OKC until my friend showed up. He's been dying to see one in person and missed that opportunity when You You came here on Christmas day.
Safe travels!
Recently noticed that my mirrors are not folding in when I lock the car. Tried to close it manually with the controls on the driver side door and it does not work either. Also tried a system reboot and turning some of the options off then back on and nothing. I did get the most recent FW...
Nope. One time it was immediately after I left a supercharger and got on the highway and AP would not enable for ~30 minutes.
It's happened when it detected a phantom object and started beeping at me (this happened on my way to the SC and I told them the approximate time that it happened)...
Somewhat afraid to reboot while on the highway. I mentioned it when I had to drop my car off at the SC and they couldn't find anything wrong. It doesn't happen at the same stretch of the highway either, sometime it will let me activate and sometimes it won't.
Has anyone not be able to activate AP on the highway after disabling it? It's happened a couple times but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue. Sometimes AP will not come back until I stop for a period of time or >30 min.
Have any of you checked the climate control to see if the AC is turned off? I had an issue on my new Model X where it started blowing hot air and noticed the AC was turned off in the climate control. Mobile service tech found that the o ring was broken and caused a leakage of the refrigerant...
Has anyone noticed that the TPMS pressure is slightly (for me ~2 PSI) lower than manually using a tire gauge? The 20 inch tires on my Model X recommends 42 PSI and that is what I have it set to according to my tire gauge, however, the TPMS reads it at 40 PSI.
Is there any official confirmation that the software + hardware upgrade is for only cars produced after 6-19? No chance of a small software unlock for faster speed for older fleet cars?
Does anyone know what the limitations on the types of repairs that Tesla mobile service can provide? Has anyone had something that they were not able to fix? If so, what did they do (flat bed the car to the nearest service center, provide a loaner, etc)?
Also interesting to note is that I had climate control set to AUTO, but the AC was set to OFF despite the interior temperature being in the 90s this morning.
Having the same issue (link here). Ranger service pulled logs and think there might be a refrigerant pressure issue (leak?). He won't be able to come look at it till next Tuesday and advised against driving it since the AC is also used to cool the battery and drive train. Not sure if I can go...
Nah, it sounded like two electrical wires making contact intermittently. Apologies, I thought I posted on the Model X forum and didn't realize this was the S forum.
I noticed a weird electrical sound (like two wires intermittently making contact with each other) coming from the front passenger suspension of my Model X. Didn't think much of it since the car makes weird noises from time to time, but my driver air vent also stopped blowing cold air and started...
I Noticed a weird electrical sound coming from the front passenger suspension of my Model X. Didn't think much of it since the car makes weird noises from time to time, but my driver air vent also stopped blowing cold air and started to make a weird noise when the fan speed is high. Passenger...
Interesting...will have to check this out later today! I wonder what the default setting for this is since I don't recall ever changing it. I've had the car for almost 2 months and yesterday was the first time it has done this.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue:
I parked my Model X at work as usual today. When I was about to leave, I opened up the Tesla App to turn on climate control. For some reason, it would not let me do it due to the car having a low charge. Weird...because I charged it to 90%...
Do you leave your Thinkware on 24/7? I'm also having issues now with connecting it through Wifi, keeps saying authentication problem. I also notice that sometimes my phone will not detect the SSID of the camera unless I turn it off and back on.
Wow that is pretty ridiculous considering you have 2 other cars. My parents got a quote for the Model X and it was only going to be $800/year (along with their other two cars).
Are you sure Root is available in Oklahoma? Checked their website right now and their FAQ states it is only available in OH and AZ.
I have AAA also and I pay ~$1600/year. I feel like it is an acceptable amount compared to the quotes other people have mentioned.
I don't think the app will show any changes to your tires. I say that because i have white interior but my app shows it as black. It would be great if the SC can somehow update it to reflect the actual look (both interior and exterior) of the car.
I don't think the interior cabin temperature is accurate. I had it parked one day when the outside temperature was <70F with a sunshade placed. The interior temperature throughout the day was constantly 100F+ with the highest being 125F. Is this normal in ICE cars? I always wondered where...
I added it on a spreadsheet that was posted on Reddit that has since been deleted. Not sure if any of the popular YouTubers have received such request (I know of one who has posted video regarding it and he has since removed his referral link).
Just got this e-mail and wasn't sure if this is new or an already existing policy:
Hi xxx, Thank you for your participation in the Tesla Referral Program. Every referral you make helps to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy, and we appreciate your support. The intent of the...
Are there any Model X owners who have Thinkware F770 dash cam installed and managed to get the motion detection/parking mode working? Unlike the Blackvue dash cam, it requires the voltage to drop below a certain point to enable motion detection/parking mode and I have not been able to find any...
