Odd update. 2 or 3 weeks ago saw a crew of trucks working on this site early in the morning. Next day, on the way back home noticed the Meter installed, but oddly the cabinet nearest the highway was still covered. Still covered as of this afternoon.

You do know that your car cost significantly more to produce than the ones coming off the line today? Also, it's a supply and demand. As production increases, the overall cost decreases and they need to move more cars to match production.

I'd also say they are pretty far apart. Also with the service center/sales the area is going to have more locals.

What happens is during use it heats up and expands a little, then cools when its off. Gradually loosing the connection over time.

Not sure about that. I remember reading somewhere that they have to report the VINs 30 days before the sale in order to give time for the states Motor Vehicles departments to update their records. (sorry to lazy to verify this info)
