So teslas goal is to make 1m cars in 2020, now we know first few cars maybe come from China's GF late that year. Anyone still think tesla can make 1m cars in Fremont? They don't even talk about 10k model 3/week anymore hard to see them making more than 100k S&X + 500k m3 in 2020.

Tesla is planning to produce 500k cars in 2018 witch is close to maximum capacity for fremont factory, how can they possibly ramp to 1 million cars by 2020? Must take more than 2 years to build next gigafactory?

Correct me if im wrong but isnt tesla currently building cars only 8 hours 5 days a week? If demand is there (as we know it is ) it shouldnt be that hard to add another shift for model 3 production lines?
