Tesla Nav still prefers Goulburn during automatic routing. I had to explicitly put supercharger Exeter as a stop in order to force it to skip Goulburn. So we’re safe.

It’s weird that the auto lane change out of the overtaking lane doesn’t work because of road camber. The front cameras are located higher than our eyes and the side pillar cameras are in line with our eyes and we can see the lane lines. Looks like a labelling issue with the old code.

It will be useful where there are single lane highways with intermittent overtaking lanes. EAP auto lane change didn’t work here the last time I checked.

Three times would have worked. But Glenrowan Maccas didn’t seem to have a drive thru, so ended up charging there at the BP pulse station. Euroa->Glenrowan->Gundagai->Goulburn. I had 40% charge at my final destination. I could have easily shaved off an hour if we had stuck to the charge time...

I skipped Exeter today as it was showing as down in the car, but up in the app! Ended up charging in Goulburn, but it’s good we picked up dinner from Oliver’s in Gundagai. This is my first MEL-SYD MY RWD road trip - 11:30 hours all up.

I have walked to the next station (Mascot) once. Walkable distance from the domestic airport. No station access fee. Also, there was a bus from the Melbourne international terminal to Broadmeadows train station. Wouldn’t advise doing either of these at night 😬

Toyota Kluger Lane Keeping Assistant is alright, although very cumbersome to turn on with all the multiple button presses and poor visualisations on the display. I used it on a MEL-SYD drive (needed a 7 seater).

Initially, the DCFCs owned by the local council was on the map. But since they are paid and not free, they have since disappeared! I guess, over time, due to Tesla’s selection criteria, only the free ones and ones with cost/kwh significantly lower than Tesla SCs will remain on the map. 😬
