Hi Widodh, You're right I was taking a wrong turn on Voltage here. Even better supporting case for 3-1 phase conversion :) But my question remains. Is there anybody out there that has tried or done anything in this direction?

Eberhard, I do not totally agree that it makes no sense (apart from the method of converting 3-1 phase). Rectifying 3-1 phase provides you in this case 1.73 times the fused current (16 amps in my case). This means instead of charging the Tesla with 16 Amps resulting in 14 hours load times to...
