And I am one of those people. My 2015 S had coils. My 2017 S has air suspension. FAR prefer the coils over air suspension. Of course, I used to have a Mini Cooper S, and with that suspension you felt every bump, so perhaps I'm not the best judge of a ride.

As some of the other commenters noted, I think it's marketing, primarily. I think Tesla is trying to make a car that many ICE owners will find comfortable and familiar. If every time you lift your foot of the accelerator, the vehicle "brakes" hard through regen, some are going to hate it and...

I've only had the Roadster since July. If you had any photos you could post of exactly where I should be looking to find the fuses and what these particular fuses look like, I would appreciate it. I do have an ohmmeter, just no experience with the guts of my roadster. :-)

Thanks for this tread, guys. I know it's 2 years later, but I just had the same problem. Very cold out 17 degrees F, and the car needed to heat the battery. That's when it failed. I'll be interested to see if it's the fuses.

Same problem just cropped up for me on my Model S when it was rented out. I've reset both displays and left it powered off for a while. Message still there. All radar, cameras, and sonar pucks are clear. Guess I need to call Tesla. :-(

I had heard that they might not close it, but actually might relocate the Superchargers to an area nearby that's easier to get into and out of. Anyone else hear any confirmation of that? Joe
