5/10 Vehicle completed. New high voltage controller and 12V battery. Even the service advisor was surprised by the speed that the part arrived. Total time one week.
5/8 Update: They ordered a high voltage controller for my vehicle. No ETA. I’ll be tracking the time closely just in case I need to invoke lemon law. Looking at other people’s posts I’m concerned that Tesla won’t expedite a part if it means taking it away from a production vehicle.
Exactly! That’s what went through my mind, but maybe the fact that drive train and batteries were visible and the service center keeps vehicles outside. Just trying to deter anyone from sneaking in and seeing more than the typical showroom. Either that or they broke my window during repair. Lol.
Haven’t seen anyone post this one.
Had the car 6 days, VIN 15XXX. On day 6 evening it flipped out. Threw a bunch of errors and wouldn’t engage into Drive. Screen reboot didn’t do anything. Was towed to SC by Tesla Roadside Assistance. Getting Tesla Roadside Assistance to answer took about 20...
This whole process is driving me nuts. Ordered 3/4. Finally got a VIN 4/13. Thought I was in the clear. Still no contct from ISA. I’ve contacted customer service twice just to be brushed off. “Any day now...”. Executive customer support said there was a note in my account to contact me soon. Gee...
That's pretty awesome, I've stared at the spreadsheet so many times and never went to the Production Tab.
Blue Aero with added options seems to be all filled up.
Blue Aero NOT in Orange County seems to be all filled up.
I just feel like because my order is not EAP and it's Orange County (my...
Blue/Aero, Orange County
Previous Owner
3/4 Config
Still no VIN. I don't see many more Blue/Aero Socal entries in the spreadsheet before me.
Hoping this will be my lucky week!
Exactly, I would drive to wherever for pickup. But they don't ask you or give you a choice. As a previous Model S owner I'm very disappointed in this Model 3 ordering process.
Definitely a focus on higher premium vehicles. I’m a 3/4 configurator. Previous owner. Blue/Aero no EAP or FSD. Southern California. Still waiting. But I know I’m not the longest waiter by far.
If you end up passing I have a vehicle for sale. 80.5k miles. Looking for $37k and has tech package and much more. In Buena Park CA.
For Sale 2013 CPO Model S 60 Silver, 80k miles
Thanks!
Updates: Mileage is 80.5k now. I just checked.
Forgot to mention this includes the portable tesla charger and the J1772 charger adapter. (Those are roughly worth $375 together).
To clarify, I charge to the end of the daily section of the battery picture, 177 is what I see almost every...
Sadly I'm selling my vehicle in preparation for the CA HOV update. As you can see below, my goal was to keep the car in great shape and by the time the warranty expired I would have a car free of all known defects. It's my daily commuter so each week this is on here, it'll be getting 250 more...
This happened to me on my Model S. Could hear it clicking and frunk seemed like it was in the open position. I did everything... reboot center console, reboot dashboard, fob presses and center console presses. During those fob and center console frunk presses i had someone try both pushing down...
Have one Graco convertible seat forward facing and one infant seat. Use the seat belt to fasten both because the latch system seems to put the seat off center of the headrest so the convertible forward facing ends up slightly tilted. With the seat belt fastening it, I feel like I can align it...
Made an appt a month ago for Dec 9th for a door handle that won't open (3 weeks out at the time). No update Fri-Mon so I called Tuesday and was told it was in queue. I called today and was told they are trying to squeeze it in.
What's the point of an appointment to have your car sit for 5...
Got my CPO S60 in June this yr with 52k miles. Since then I've had the AC blowing hot air issue, rear drive unit replaced and vehicle in now for a door handle. Love the car, love the CPO price, love the carpool sticker, hope by the end of the 4 yrs warranty all weak parts have been replaced...
I'm currently in a Buick Verano. Seriously sucks... so much for equal class or better. At that level atleast put me in an Accord so I have some pep to the engine.
Apologize for my ignorance, I've been reading up on the DU problems and not sure if mine is related.
My S60 @ 56k miles. I got it as CPO with 52k miles. Lately it seems the rear DU is really loud I hit 60 mph or more. It's literally like an on/off switch. Car is super silent at 59mph and super...
Car is back. Replaced the dummy sensor and some A/C likes which they said were damaged and so freon wasnt flowing in the volume expected. The logs did show that the A/C was pulled to the battery but they did state that the 2 hr outage was a symptom of the sensor and lines not functioning...
Just clarifying, during my original issue I never saw any warning or exclamation point.
Car still in the SC since Friday. Either they found something or it's just too backlogged. Either case I'm happy that they take their time and do it right. My loaner P85 isn't too shabby either. Probably...
Yes one thing in my scenario was that I did try to use the climate cooling feature on the app. It was my first time using it. Not sure if I gave it the full 15 minutes or something closer to 10 minutes. Not sure if it makes a difference.
I do not doubt they will go through all the necessary...
My vehicle is with Buena Park SC as of this morning. We'll see what they come back with but I did get the speech about AC cooling the battery. Regardless, they took my time logs and are diagnosing. This is unacceptable as it's supposed to be our family car and having a 3 year kid in a carseat at...
Always a risk that it doesn't get renewed. The white sticker makes all the difference. I started with a Rav4EV and now to a CPO Model S60. My guess is that the green sticker expires in 2019 and white stickers get an extension. Just think of all those CNG cars who have had white stickers...
That's a good point. I'll check with them Friday. My main issue was getting my wife and daughter out of the car because it was ridiculously hot. Which I did, they ended up going in another car with A/C.
'13 S 60kw. 52k miles (2 weeks CPO).
During the fathers day heat wave, we had a horrible experience. Sunday morning the A/C was working fine. We parked outdoors for about an hour and a half during the weekend heat wave. When we were back in the car, it would only blow hot air. Ext temp...
I had a clean car fax. Only line item was purchase in 2013. Mine wasn't the best deal. S60 pano roof, studio sound, air suspension, tech, wood paneling, etc 52k miles $46.9k.
Data point for those waiting. Ended up taking delivery last Wednesday of a S60 CPO 52k miles in Buena Park with pano roof, air suspension, wood decor, tech, sound studio, leather. Price was 46.9k. 51k after CA tax and fees.
Got the formal quote the day before the CPO website went live and...
Yes, but it depends on the CPO advisor. I actually had an email with my CPO on Monday and he gave me info on a specific vehicle. Turns out when CPO website went live, most advisors were not notified. The vehicle I had in my email was ~2.5k more expensive on the website. That part concerns me...
