I had a rear wheel drive model S prior to my current 100D and NEVER had any problems in the rain. And I live in South Florida - we get our share of rain!

I have a one month old Model S. Sometimes the sunroof won't close (gets stuck open). Initially this happened twice. The first time a "reboot" fixed it. The second time I had to bring it to a service center to have them "reprogram" it via a laptop. They said the sunroof got confused about...

The first question will always be "How much range does it have?"

They are better than factory, but not as plush as Lloyd's Luxe mats. A trade-off for the custom design.

Recently moved from a 75 to a 100D with white interior. Wow, what an upgrade! Also went for custom floor mats (formytesla.com) as the Tesla OEM ones are rather blah...

FYI I had this done at my local Tesla Service Center for $100 while the car was in for other things. I'm sure they "outsourced" it, but it was one less set of logistics for me. The wheel looked brand new afterward.

Probably. The device may be SIM locked, but that is usually by carrier, and I think Tesla uses AT&T anyway, if I recall.

I recently switched from the stock Goodyear's to the Michelin MXM4 Primacy. I normally swear by Michelin, but now my car has a harmonic whine at 80mph. Haven't had the opportunity to bring it back to see if it is the tires or something else.

Did you recently put LED light bulbs in the opener? These can cause interference, and are typically OFF when the door is closed - so opening is not a problem, but for closing, range is severely diminished.

Good thing I ordered my pano roof 100D on 10/30. I heard they were changing some options, but didn't think they would remove the pano roof option.

You can still get the Full Autopilot option. You just have to have them manually add it to your order. I did that on my 10/30 order.

If you do subscribe to XM, call to cancel every year at renewal. they will give it to you for half price (about what it's worth anyway...)

I live in Florida. I went with the 70 (ordered just prior to the change to 60). $5k for the D just wasn't worth it. I wouldn't worry about resale value. There will be plenty of buyers in the south that won't care about D.

Got a call from my delivery manager today. Car on truck headed to Florida. We scheduled my deliver for the 25th.

I confirmed on 5/28, and got an email saying my car started in production on 6/14. FWIW refreshing the site does no good. Status did not change since I received the email on the 14th.

I have to agree on V1. I loved my V1 but had to switch to an Escort Redline in my last car due to falses from the blind spot system. Even tried the new V1. I love the V1 directional info, but they need to work on their falsing sensitivity. Looks like when my MS arrives I'll need to go remote...
