How can I (or is it do I) check what version of AP is currently installed on my 2016 MS90D?

This is going to sound stupid, and I feel that way but here goes. I just dug my key fob out of the washing machine! Has anyone had any luck with it working after being subjected to this mistreatment? I know my wife has washed (and dried) her Prius fob and it continues to work!

Does anybody here know what polish is used at the Service centers? I took delivery of my new (well used actually) S 90D and found that the bug collection on the front simply wash right off with only warm water. I would like more of this finish product for future use.
