Tesla blue is just a paint code. Anyone can mix that color of paint. That being said, I agree, it probably not actually mixed from the paint code and could be just different enough to stand out. I would go black.

The hard part will be the mirror arm. Depending on how many pieces are used will determine the difficulty. Less pieces = harder but less seams will look better. We'll see how that balance plays out. Hope to see it soon!!

I don't think this will be a big issue. In the end you may have to wait to get the configuration you want anyway. I learned on the 3 reservation, it's about getting what you want quickly, not being the first overall. You may think differently.
