Since Tesla seems to like to include the hardware and just limit it by software, I'm hoping at some point they have a fire sale on "options" or maybe do a holiday discount thing or something like that. I would definitely consider adding a few options if they were on sale. Eyeing the 72A...

Model S order confirmed on 6/25 but still listed as "In production queue". The wait is tough...but maybe it will come with the 8.0 software and updated autopilot. (I'm hoping)

Yes, and even google does that with their maps app on the iphone. It will let you download "offline" maps for areas that you frequent. A nice little feature in areas with spotty cell coverage.

I went with the 60D because I live in California now and I love driving through the mountain twistys, but having lived in FL for about 28 years, I would say save the $5k and spend it on seats/sunroof/autopilot. And use a referral code while you can, it will save you $1k!
