Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Is there basis for Tesla to sue him for defamation? Request Cease and Desist? Would that be beneficial or counter productive for Tesla?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

"Think big or go home!" I like it, but I'm just generally too conservative to think that big. 5-10 CTs is a large investment to make... Did anyone run the numbers of how long it could take to recoup this with Robotaxis? Obviously have to make a lot of assumptions...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Wouldn't Y be much more practical Robotaxi than the CT? Just in terms of size, going into cities, etc.. I've been thinking of eventually getting into that side of things if it pans out, but with a Y. I'll use my CT reservation for myself, thankyouverymuch....

In the vehicle. There will be software update in a few weeks. That update will add the button to 'Software' section (according to Elon). Then if you click it (and then sign in blood to confirm to be a good user, etc..) it will probably do another software update to download the FSDbeta. I...

Tesla itself, (bulls vs. TSLAQ) and many of Tesla decisions/designs have often been polarizing. In fact more often than not, I found large camps of people either loving or hating a specific Tesla decision/design/change. X doors, FSD/robotaxi, CyberTruck, new S wheel, no-stalks, etc, etc...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

so as I understand it. it was trading at around $660 up-to-the close. then instantly jumped to $695 for "on-close" order. Everyone who had GTC limit orders at price < that (including mine). would trigger at $695 price. So don't be surprised by that. After that jumped AH resumed back at around...

It's almost as if no one really knows what will happen  It's already +2.5% premarket and climbing. I hate to break the HODLer ranks around here, but I'm planning to sell 10-20% of my holdings between today and Monday. I "need" to buy a lot of expensive toys next year, and hell, after...

50% is what, $950 from here? Seems a bit low to me to sell all if expectation to be > $2000 in 5-10 years. I've been thinking hard about this for the last few weeks trying to decide what to do. Coupled with the fact that all my TSLA is unfortunately in taxable account, it's not obvious to me...

This is very good interview, hitting a lot of timely points. He just said that they will use to raised $$ to retire some debt. He said that it seemed to make sense at <1% of dilution. But they went back-and-forth doing it.

And don't forget supersonic electric jet. Elon keeps saying he wants to do it, every few month. Although if he does, maybe he'll start a new company or do it under SpaceX brand.
  23. V

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I completely agree. Anything significantly more than that is predictions from la-la-land. But 2T in 10 years, is "only" 5x from today. And while that's nothing to sneeze at, given that we just witnessed 5x in less than a year, it's not too surprising that some people wish for similar growth...

And I find that I seem to acquire hobbies that are expensive proportionally to increase of my TSLA holdings. Things I always wanted to do, but couldn't afford (or more correctly, couldn't justify) previously. Good for you. Unfortunately I fail all the above criteria. and some by a long shot. Youngest just starting High School. only have 1 tesla, and 20 years to medicare... Not at 45 years old. Health insurance alone is going to be killer... Besides I'm not ready to sell most of my TSLA yet, so...

How much $ to retire and how to fund your lifestyle in retirement

Can you teach us how to retire on $2 million in the bank in US? Say expecting to live another 40-50 years. Family of 4. Need health insurance, pay for college, cars, etc.. Want to travel. All discussion of Nikola Motors

According to TSLAQ twitter-verse NKLA scam is minor league and can be easily excused/explained compared to what evil Elon has done over the years. I mean isn't it obvious that $TSLA is a zero while $NKLA is just misunderstood and is trying to change the world?:eek:

Yes it would be convenient, I agree. And I'll be very interested in that feature if this was integrated with Apple iWatch for example. But not sure working on it's own dedicated watch specific to TESLA, doesn't seem like a time well spent to me.

I was going to sell ~300 shares on Tuesday to finance a house purchase.
