    Used S VS Audi A4

I test drove an A3 etron. Hated it. Felt like you really had to slam down the brake pedal to get past it's wishy-washy regen braking and actually stop the car. Far heavier than my car at the time (a VW 1.4 TSI scirocco) and felt slower than the VW even though it had the same engine augmented by...

What car/s did you come from?

VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI (not a diesel / scandal machine!) Was going to move up to a much larger car anyway. I lease my cars; the tax advantages of an EV meant that the MS 70D doesn't cost that much more to lease than an Audi A6 (and once you specify similar engine power, 4WD, all the driver assist...

    Nikola Motors Semi Trucks

+1 Cosmacelf: it's a venture capital scam. Don't beleive a word of any of it. Edit - have a look at this post from Seeking Alpha: Read down a few entries to Miro Kefurt He's done the research; looks very much like its a fraud.

I also recall reading of a Model S owner demonstrating his ability to control his vehicle (parked in the UK) from his mobile phone (in...

Same Rear Motor in S60 and P90D?

The whole idea that the motor has to be larger to be more powerful seems intuitively right but really is derived from our experience with ICE cars, where more power needs more cylinder volume, extra superchargers, turbochargers, exhaust etc. To make a Tesla more powerful, I suspect all you need...

    Fatal autopilot crash, NHTSA investigating...

There are some roads like this in the UK - and they are very dangerous - and as alluded to earlier, they are rural. Sections of the A1 north of Alnwick towards Berwick have "junctions" where traffic can cross what is essentially a dual carriageway with a 70mph speed limit.
