I just encountered this 2 days ago. I moved my passenger seat all the way forward and now it's stuck. Also the screen is showing me a warning saying "Passenger Airbag Always On". It looks like the seat can't detect whether anyone is sitting in it to disengage the airbag, so it's defaulting to...
My electrician came back and moved the 50A breaker from the end of the panel to the top and I haven't had a reduction to 30A since. Could also be related to the fact my AC is not running with milder temps so overall power consumption in my house is less.
Hey @gotz2ride im considering deleting the chrome on my model X. How is yours holding up underneath the folding mirrors? I hear it might tear under there.
Which color is closest to the factory 22" Onyx black--the gray or matte black?
Any one have a blue MX with matte or glossy black that they can share a pic of?
@tomtx37, I see you have 22" wheels from your configuration footnote. Are you using those on your trip? They are known to give you a 10-15% depreciation below the standard 20" wheels.
I have had my X for about 6 weeks, and I still have to think a bit before locating the exact button to open a specific door. I'm still thrown off by the fact the FWD buttons are *above* the front/passenger door buttons in the current UI. I feel the UI should display the car similar much like how...
Without changes to the fob's physical design (i.e., the buttons will stay very easy to depress in the near future) for those of us that keep the fob in their pocket and love the "close all doors and lock" functionality, there needs to be a safety against accidental closes given that the...
I've been reading (and experiencing) some frustrations with the key fob: its limitations and the fact that it's prone to accidental activation. Here is my list of suggestions to improve the key fob commands. My goal was to 1) allow more functionality than is currently possible, including opening...
I don't have PUP and exactly two times (last night and this morning) the driver door opened upon unlock with the fob. I don't know if it was where I was standing (near the driver side falcon wing) that did it, a glitch, or what, but it happened.
The reason I ask is because our garage is on the side of the house connected to the basement one level below our 1st floor, and it's much more convenient to park in the front of the house on the same level as our family room/kitchen day to day, especially when unloading groceries, kids, etc
I know the conventional wisdom is to "keep it charged" (we charge nightly to 85% to get a nice even 200 miles on our X 75D). But our daily weekday driving is no more than 10-15 miles. Is there any benefit to charging every night vs. letting it drop to 50-60% charge and charging every 2-3 days...
Only happens on the left door. About halfway through the opening/closing, it clicks very loudly. Doesn't happen with the right side door. I'm taking it to the SC Thursday for a wind issue, will have them look at it then.
On Geico's website to add my new Model X 75 to my policy. I typed in the VIN issued on my MyTesla page and Geico's database resolves it to a 90D! I'm curious if 1) this is Tesla's or Geico's issue, and 2) will I be overpaying for insurance?
Curious to hear experiences with real-world range with the 75Ds coming out in past month. Charging to 80%, 90% and 100% gets you theoretically 190mi, 212mi, and 237mi, resp. What is it in reality?
