One thing you might consider (I'm doing this for the sale of my 85D) is to get a trade-in quote from Tesla. Then you can tack on $2-3k and consider that you're floor for pricing.

Just because your reservation number didn't change doesn't mean your "place in line" didn't change. I don't think anyone knows in what order these reservations are being processed.

Sorry, you're missing what every person in the car sales business knows: you can stand firm on the new car cost and give a little on the trade-in or you can discount the list price and stand firm on the trade-in. It doesn't matter, it's all the same transaction.
