You can't drive a VIN, but you also can't complete a third party loan for many banks without a VIN, so it's not a "don't worry" situation for everyone....

The benefit of adding the referral is not on the refer-ee side (i.e. the free supercharging), but rather on the refer-er side (i.e. a free HPWC that I could put to good use).

Any orders (up until recently) would have been web orders, no sales person involved. I actually pinged my OA (who sold us our last car) at the time of my order to see if he could place the order (so he would get credit for it), and he said at that time (in June) they they had no way to place...

Tesla Waze had an issue with Google Maps (Google started charging a lot for Maps API access apparently), but they've since switched to a different underlying mapping platform (OpenStreets I think?). It's been a bit flaky lately, but will load eventually - so I don't think it's going away...

I have Aug-Oct delivery window for a P3D (also a current owner) ... so you probably won't be #1. And I doubt I would be either (Oct 2016 orig reservation date, ordered P3D on June 27 - wasn't able to order AWD/P before they opened it up to all reservation holders).

We recently had our S in for a rear-end collision and also damage from a tree falling on the front hood (got it on both ends!) and Hollis did an excellent job...

This car was in use as a company car, I would assume registered as such, so I'm guessing this is what they meant (i.e. warranty clock started ticking when the car got registered as a company car).

So I think the referenced docs essentially say that in this case the warranty ends when the odometer is at 50000 miles ... (this particular car was used as a company car before being sold as inventory). Ah well .... thanks all.

I couldn't find any definitive answers searching on here ... so hopefully someone has direct experience with this. If you buy a New inventory car with, say, 5000 miles at delivery does the base warranty run out when the odometer reads 50,000 miles or 55,000 miles? I looked through my delivery...

Any idea what these snowflake icons mean? Car has been outside, I believe, sitting in the cold for ~24 hours not plugged in (it's at the service center) ... but shows this snowflake on the battery icon, and a sliver of blue color as well.

In our case it would be hard to say as we went from 21" wheels + performance tires to the 20" wheels with Hakka R2 snow tires .... so I suspect most of the difference would be due to the different tire type....

Unfortunately due to the location trenching a line from the main panel to where I'd like the charger to be is complicated, hence looking at these other options. That's interesting - that never even occurred to me! I doubt the second service would make sense anyway due to the fixed cost ...

Still spinning just fine here. My wife has gotten several complements on them as well. Definitely a good, reasonably priced option!

We also bought a 5th wheel - always afraid that I won't be able to find one on short notice if we damage one. Of course now that I have it pretty much guarantees that we won't need it ...... :-)

There are plenty of other places in the Pru to spend $10 to get a validation stamp. Not the cheapest option, but in a prime, very expensive, urban location it's gonna be hard to find a spot for something like this for free. I think as Teslas get more and more ubiquitous it's likely you'll see...
