Had a drive unit replaced for our Model 3 LR RWD last month. The DU part was ASY,3DUR,MOSFET-HC (1120980-00-F). Anecdotally, seems like I’m getting better efficiency. It could be since our prior DU was failing.

March 2018 LR RWD. 14k mi and 100% = 293. Firmware 2019.20.1 Regularly charge to 80 or 90%. Use about 20-30% range per day. I’m shocked at the degradation and Tesla hasn’t responded after several inquiries.

Our Model X is blue. I prefer how the silver slipstream contrasts with the blue. The wheels also seem to cause a small wh/mi increase versus the slipstreams. Not sure if it’s the design or weight.

We have an X and a 3. I used to have the S and the space was better for 3 car seats in back. Definitely something to consider on S vs 3.

I tried putting 3 car seats in the back. It's pretty tight. On our old S, it was pretty easy to fit 3 Radian RXTs.

On the standard Model S AWD, the rear motor had less power than the RWD version. Will the Model 3 likewise have a different motor between AWD and RWD? If the motor is the same between both, seems like the AWD should have a materially faster 0-60. Will the P version have a stronger rear motor?

Just got my VIN this morning! Delivering in Costa Mesa. 11xxx. Red, sport, EAP

Configured silver / aero on 1/25 and delivered yesterday. VIN in 6xxx Configured red / sport on 2/14. Still waiting for VIN.

We also did the Radian RXT and it worked great.

Prices are holding strong for used Tesla’s!

The HEPA filter is also an important differentiator for us since it improves air quality, especially in helping with environmental allergies. May be an incremental reason to go for new S vs 3.

365 Wh/mi using 20 inch Tsportline with over 1000mi. Short trips are about 400 while longer trips are 340. Before the Tsportlines, my X75D was averaging about 330 Wh/mi on slipstreams.

Our family of 5 has the 6 seater w/o console. We always keep the 3rd row up. I like how the kids access the 3rd row using the middle gap (instead of moving the chairs forward). I wish there was greater recline on the 2nd row seats.
