Nope, I bought the tool myself, I went to Harbor Freight (aka Horrible Freight) because it was closer than Home Depot. Unfortunately they only had 11 inch tool, a smaller one would work much better.

that said, I asked if he minded if I did it right there and he said no problem. It took a little while, the only 90 degree pliers I could find were 11 inches,, which is not ideal for getting under the plate, I got it eventually

Friday I emailed DS when I saw status change, he replied: It hasn’t arrived yet but expect it to arrive over the weekend so they will either unload on Saturday or Monday morning. I’ll keep you posted!

My status just update form in transit (where it had been since 8/1) to production complete but delivery window remains 8/16-8/26, Does that mean it's at the local Tesla location now? I can not wait any longer!

I got a minor update but an update nevertheless, I am fairly certain now that the Alliant guy (via DS) knew my date would be the 26th for a while now. my estimated window was August 19-September 3! Your estimated delivery window is August 19, 2016 - August 26, 2016.

Mine originally said "August-Early September" but switched about 10 days ago to August 20-September 3. \ Did your DS say they are loading them on to trucks now? I would kill to have mine before this weekend but I don't see that happening

So yours is being delivered to Devon as well AND DS told you not until the weekend of 9/27? I hope not I was really hoping for this weekend but looking less and less likely. The time for me (and worse for you) between ordering and receiving is about 2 months, that is waaaaay too long

"broken" = broken apart into smaller units. You break a train from 100 cars down to two trains of 50 cars or similar. ahh, I thought it meant that the train had literally broken down, which would (possibly) explain the delay, thanks

From what I have understood, a train coming from Fremont is broken in Chicago . is broke down now? how do you know? Just curious, but this would explain the delay with my car.

Yes, sorry if I didn't mention that. I finished production on 7/30 I have been "in transit" since 8/1, which I suppose isn't that bad but still, if it comes 8/26 too long (for me) I am just venting and look forward to the time when I won't remember waiting

It's been 42 days since I confirmed. Mytesla Page still has delivery window says 8/20-93. At first I thought it seemed long then I compared to others on spread sheet and only see 14 others who took longer (I assume there are some longer who haven't yet received their cars but I sorted by "days...

I agree with the date range and have no (valid) reason to believe I will have it earlier BUT I was told it was on a train, so I just thought (well hoped) that mine was on the same train/truck/boat, etc! the wait is killing me
