I hung a curtain in the middle of my garage and drove at it slowly. Several times. The car (2016 MX) did not apply the brakes. Don't know it it's the low speed (creep) or what. May try to find a way to do same thing at a higher speed some day.

Can anyone confirm whether the Chademo at HyVee is turned on or not? I'm going NE to MN soon and it'd be nice to have available. Neither ChargePoint nor Plugshare seem to say, that I could find anyway. (they do show a Chademo 'coming soon' to a Kum & Go.)

Did you ever find a nice "Zero Emissions" frame? All the customizable ones I find are either really cheap or don't have cutouts in the corners needed for the tabs. My 2016 X came with 2 'All Wheel Drive' frames which is pretty lame. Zero Emissions is what it's all about.
