    Firmware 8.0

I agree! the 8.0#2 update seems to have improved autosteer back to useful level. My 8.0#1 was all over the place and crossing lane markers frequently but this new update seems to have fixed that issue.

My car updated to 8.0... again

I also got this interval update a few days ago. Even though I read its mainly a USB media player fix, I feel like the autosteer has improved and is keeping within the lane better. I'll have to spend more time with it but was wondering if anyone else noticed it.

Bloomberg Tesla Autopilot Accident Story Today

The "autopilot" in an airplane doesn't do everything for the pilot. It won't take off and land for you or handle every unexpected situation. It takes over tedious tasks and corrections while in flight. We appropriately use the term autopilot for these aircrafts as thats how it has been defined...

Definitive S Refresh Front Plate Bracket Removal

Thanks for all the info. I removed my front plate yesterday using the 90 degree needle nose pliers, phillips screwdriver, and blow dryer. The blow dryer helped a lot to get the molding tape more malleable which allowed me to pull out a corner and stick my fingers behind the plate frame to start...
