Frankly, given how inaccurate Vision is in detecting close range obstacles, I don’t see how we ever get reliable Summon or Autopark on cars with without USS.

No, still no Summon or Autopark on my MXP. Vision does seem more accurate, but I haven’t had a chance to really test it yet.

This functionality (fully opening doors) has been removed. The door only opens a few inches now, that’s how it’s supposed to work. Nothing wrong with your car.

Thanks. Bummer - as it doesn’t seem like that version is eligible for upgrade to the latest release of 2023.12.10 (which has all the latest updates, plus FSD on 2023 branch).

Looks like they’re batching the cars - I ordered MXP on 4/16, white/cream, FSD, and just got assigned VIN as well. I’m in NJ, with estimated delivery of 6/8-15. I did have to sign the Vision disclaimer that some features are temporarily unavailable, blah, blah.

Plaids are definitely taking longer than long range. I’ve been waiting for VIN for over a month now.

There’s an Ultra Red/Cream Plaid X available in NJ. I would consider it, but it has a steering wheel (and I want the yoke)

Congrats, that’s fast! I ordered an MXP over a month ago, and still no VIN…

But the only way to get FSD Beta is to pay for FSD first. That is the necessary (but not sufficient) condition to be able to get FSD Beta at some point. If you don’t have FSD (either paid monthly or when you bought the vehicle), they you can’t get FSD Beta.

On a separate note, I ordered my MXP on 4/16, so exactly a month ago, and still no news or delivery date… ☹️

I hear your pain, but it seems like we all heard your story now, again and again… Maybe it’s time for you to move on and enjoy whichever ICE you end up going with? Constantly revisiting past trauma is said not to be good for you…

That’s a good thing (for US customers). Will hopefully make wait times for LHD cars shorter as Tesla won’t need to adjust production lines for RHD vehicles.

Got it, thought you were referring the the car battery charging port not working - that would have been an issue!

Where you say “rear charger port not working” do you mean that the charging port door won’t open, or that you can’t charge the car?

I placed an order for MXP on 4/16. Initially it said delivery April-May, then delivery window got updated a few days ago to 5/16-6/27. No VIN yet. If I can get the car by end of June that will be great…

It's a bummer it's gone... I was seriously thinking about leasing, specifically because they offered the guarantee. Will have to reconsider now...

What delivery time were you given? Interested in brand new P100D orders only (not upgrades to an existing order). I have a few months left on my current lease and would like to postpone ordering for as long as possible, unless the P100D takes much longer then the other options... So interested...
