I live in Northampton and work in Amherst so I pass the site every day. Here's the current construction status.

Location is actually closer to 25 Russell St in Hadley, site of a future Pride gas station. The 445 Russell St is the existing Pride station on the other end of town. Pin is close to correct though.

Not exactly accurate - after five referrals you get access to this special loot; after five more referrals you get 10% off, and then an additional 2% off for each further referral = additional 90% off from 45 referrals. So it takes 55 referrals, not 50, to get the Roadster for free.

That's interesting and quite the coincidence! The invite for the event corresponding to that appointment had "$10,000" included in its description, so there's a chance that this is why it appeared on the screen. I'd consider this a "case closed". Thanks!

Further followup: the board of assessors acted on their own and gave me an abatement for the difference. So I do echo the recommendation to talk to your city/town's board. FYI I gave them a copy of the NADA value and the delivery configuration document.

For my 75D Geico quoted $1300 for 6 months 100/300 with $500 deductible. Progressive quoted $560 for same coverage. It was an easy choice.

Though I would wrap up this thread - I jumped on the end-of-quarter sale and got a 75D (delivered yesterday), which also mitigates a bit my concerns about range. Thanks again to everyone for your advice!

I also took the plunge on a Model S 75D with autopilot and $8200 discount, taking delivery on Thursday. The main difference with the 60D I was thinking about ordering is the color (wanted silver, this one is white, but I like white too). Perhaps we should have EOQ delivery meetups :-)

Thanks for the pointers guys. My thinking at this point is that the one useful component of the sub-zero weather package is the steering wheel warmer, as I will seldom have back seat passengers. Also it seems that 30% would mean charging twice a week some weeks, which I may grudgingly agree...

Certainly the way to address this would be to charge more often, but I work at a large public university and the charger is not close to my building, so this would be a stop on the way home. Once a week seems manageable, more often might become cumbersome. It's all about *how* much the range...
