From what I read, updated Model 3 is beautifull, removing Gear stoke and signal stoke may be hard to accept by some buyers. Those who wants to upgrade from current Model 3, it make sense to wait until new version comes out, Those who buying their First Tesla, no need to wait for Refresh Model...

It is very easy to get depresssing thoughts on TSLA these days, Recession, demand collapsing, Elon behaving badly, Elon dumping lot share on open market. From a business prospective TSLA cost structure is second to none, they will change accooding to market condition and will have decent margin.

Looking at Rivian microscopically at this stage does not make sense, Big question is, can they ramp quickly ?, Rivian investment will not be pain free, Tesla lost money for good 10 years with Model S&X voulme around 100K, went almost under during Model 3 ramp.

Monroe Channel is shifting to monetise their channel, but content is still ok. As far as EV making, all big participants will make decent EV but as Elon stated Tesla’s edge will remain on manufacturing prowess, if someone makes a cool EV and loose ton of money, wall street love for that company...

In some way Tesla could be lot bigger than Apple at the same time Automotive industry is brutally competitive, Sure most ICE makers are still lazy and thinking small, but logically somebody has to come out swinging challenging Tesla, may be Chinese company.

Most people don't realize it but this quarter earning is very important, Elon is sending all kind of mixed signal, Tesla is burning ton of money because of ramp of Burlin and Texas at the same time. He even went to as far as saying Tesla is worthless unless we solve FSD, I don't buy this...

My only fear is , Tesla will increase their volume significantly over next couple years, finding buyer who is willing to pay 66K for Model Y could run into problems. Having said that, Elon is no dummy, he will come out with lower trim version of Y at lower starting price if demand becomes an issue.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

It almost feel like Tesla wants to leverage their brand value, High end brand, screw it, we will increase prices, no one is close to copying our vehicle yet, let's go to Apple way, You could buy $300 Android phone but Apple say we will charge $700.00 plus, people are still buying it.

When I get obsess and worried about rising cost of EV(Tesla Model Y, 65K) my faith in EV sector, especially Tesla get shaken a little, so here is little price research on ICE competiton pricing, 2022 Honda Passport $38-46 K 2022 Acura MDX 48-72 K 2022 Toyota Highlander 35-48 K( include some...

If any EV makers can pull it out of difficult time it’s Tesla, having said this Model Y starting price of 65 K is probably testing the upper limit consumer can afford, it’s different if Tesla wants to sell half a million unit but with Berlin and Austin capacity coming they need to move 2...

Price increased is getting crazy but I think current price of Model Y, 65K is testing the limit , people have that much money ! I understand for low volume car makers it’s possible, If Tesla stay on 50% growth strategies, is it possible Tesla could sell over 1.5 millions Model Y next year with...

Sure current demand is very high, 65K for Model Y is getting bit high, is this just Tesla taking advantage of supply and demand pricing ?, Over last couple years plenty of money was supply by good stock market condition as well as crypto money, now that is not the case at the moment, I just like...

Short term Tesla will be fine, Elon and Tesla understand price elasticity very well, they will do the right thing balancing profit, demand, cost. They have a order book we don't, they taking action based on real time data.

In some respect Tesla's vehicles price increase is worry some, commodity price increase taking toll on cost of producing car but with this price increases has more complexity, we have never seen $5.00/gallon gas across the nation, California used to be the state with $4.00 plus gas, now this is...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

My take on Rivian is, stage they are at now with kind of money in the bank(17B) will make them kind of complacent , Frugality and efficiency comes under pressure. Wall street will not reward stock price unless company exceed expectation on all front.

When will Re-Rating of TSLA happen ? , FSD, BOTS, Federal credit for Tesla. I hope Tesla report extremely good margin with rising ASP, at some point Tesla main stream vehicles line up need to come down in pricing to sub 50 K, If margin is very good now ,later decent margin with substantial higher volume will keep profitability stable.

I have same opinion on FSD Beta, not really complaining but they really need to concentrate on Left and Right turn, winding road speed limit sign recognition should be priority as well.
