Looks like the Iowa has been delayed by a few days...

I'm probably on the same boat - expecting delivery end of March. I've just got Phoenix Works booked in to install the Wall Connector on the 14th March so can let you know how it goes. One thing I have had to do in prep is get an 100A main fuse to replace the old 60A main fuse I had.

Difficult to say which ship. The Kentucky looks like it will get in too late (5th March) as my delivery is due w/c 27th March, leaving only three weeks from arrival in Europe. Having said that the Iowa is only due in four days earlier than that now on the 1st March. Who knows, it'll get here...

Just noticed MyTesla has updated to 'Your Tesla has been loaded onto a vessel and is en route to Europe.' Think that's just over three weeks from production complete (27/01/17)

Interesting, who did you speak to in Sales? I'm about to finalise the finance on my MX order (going PCP) and dropping to 3.9% would make a big difference!

Good question! I got a quote of £550 for my MX from LV through CompareTheMarket and just ticked the box saying the car had a tracker as assumed the inbuilt capabilities were good enough?

I know! When I spoke to the DS earlier they said that my MX was 'on it's way' to Tilburg but I didn't probe on anymore details as I'm just assuming it's on the Iowa given the timings.

Looks like the Maersk Iowa left harbour earlier today, so will hopefully get an update on MyTesla today/tomorrow. Spoke to the delivery team today and confirmed a delivery date of w/c 27th March!

I just used CompareTheMarket for my MX and best quote was from LV for £550.

Congrats, that's exciting! So, do you think they will rush the delivery/handover just to get it in the quarter? Does that mean they'll cut corners? The upside is that it will mean I'm except from the new VED charges coming in April so probably worth doing.

So, got a call from my delivery specialist today asking me If I'd like to take delivery early at the end of March. I was originally looking to delay delivery until June (need to save a bit more...) but now they're asking if I can take delivery next month. It also looks like the car is about to...

It's been a couple of weeks since I was told by Tesla that production was complete on my Model X and it was making its way from the factory to a US port. I'm finding myself checking MyTesla for a new update everyday as I'm guessing it will get loaded onto a ship sometime soon. Any ideas how...

So....just got a quote back from Eastbourne Electrical to install the Tesla Wall Connector. Thought it was a relatively straightforward install but they're quoting £850 (inc. VAT). Apparently as it's an Outdoor installation and the place I want it isn't right next to the fuse box it's a bigger...

Woke up this morning to an email from Tesla saying production is complete! No update on MyTesla yet but great to know it's starting its journey from Fremont!

I saw on one of the other threads that Tesla can fit the tow bar to Model X's post production: Confirmation - you can add accessory or towing package after delivery Not sure if this is possible with the Model S as well?
