Heard back from Tesla - it's a known issue and will be fixed in the next update.

This is how a normal car with auto headlights works: When its Daylight your car runs with the DRL's only - when it gets dusk or dark the headlights come on. When you turn your car off the headlights turn off. Why do you need to drive around with your headlights on 24/7?

I have the same issue - lights always on. Tesla service says "Normal" I say no way. Have since e-mailed Tesla about the issue. Will keep you posted if I get a response.

Also curious about this - Looks so good without the front tag - but don't want/need to be harassed by CHP.

Update - apparently one of the AutoPilot Modules failed in turn causing the navigation to not work. All items above have been addressed except for the rear trunk trim which is messed up from the DS using some sort of cleaner to remove the glue. I ended up dropping my MS at Tesla Service on...

I meant a no brainer for me - why wouldn't I take advantage of faster charging? Never know when a last minute road trip is in order. Faster charging at destination chargers is also a plus and I like the idea of being able to keep the cable that came with car in the car and not having to remember...

As far as I know the wall charger is weatherproof - they install these outdoors at destination chargers - if you think that rain/snow could be an issue you could always build something over the charger to keep the rain/snow off it. Here is one mounted outdoors in NY. CROWNE PLAZA SUFFERN-MAHWAH...

I got the high amperage option for my MS so wall charger is a no brainer. :rolleyes:

Just heard from my DS - car scheduled to go into production early December - does anyone know how long after production starts the car is actually ready for delivery? :)

I am planning on taking delivery in Fremont and take Factory Tour same day if it works out. At the moment around 12/23/16. We shall see. :cool:

I totally agree - I've been lucky that my DS has been very good about communicating. It's the DS job to answer your questions (luckily mine is good with communicating through e-mail) - call away! :cool:
