    Goodyear Eagle Touring + P85D

I just took my car in for my first annual maintenance and I surprised to learn that my tires needed replacement with just 18000 miles and pretty conservative driving patterns. I have the OEM Goodyear Eagle Touring. I started a thread more specific to my situation you can find here: Replacement...

    Replacement Tires Redux

Thanks for the link. I think it confirms my choice with the Michelin Pilot A/S 3+. Dry/Wet performance is the best and after looking at warranty and tread wear rating it meets my criteria and should last a lot longer than the Goodyear Eagle Touring Foam tires. They are $46/tire more expensive...

    Replacement Tires Redux

I know there are a lot of different threads on here regarding tires so I apologize in advance if this is redundant. But I just took my 2017 MS 60D in for my first annual maintenance and they did a tire gauge inspection and told me my Goodyears were at 3.5/32 with only 17K on them. Since it's...

    Can a 60D be uncorked?

How is everyone getting 0-60 times and HP numbers on the tracking spreadsheet? Are you doing a dyno before and after? Or is the service center providing the measurements? I am hopeful since I see someone on the list that took delivery a month before me and uses the same service center with same...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Yeah, just noticed that. The other car beside mine was also Red. Looked like someone was about to pick up a pre-owned, it was older front end. Red was the same though.

    Tesla Referral Program

McMuggets, I'm from Calgary, how's the Tesla drive in the snow? Oil guys must hating you for getting a Tesla and gas guys will hate you for the Powerwall. Good luck on that. And if you hit your max referrals feel free to pass mine along, I could use any referrals at this point Referral | Tesla

    The reasonably* priced Model S

I took delivery of my vehicle yesterday and I am loving it! The experience at the Service Center was great. The presentation of the delivery was superb and I couldn't be happier. They even gave me a gift bag not sure if they give it to everyone but made me feel special. They even threw in the...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

I wanted to update to provide an update on features on this thread. The ventilated seating sub-feature of the Premium was once only available on the P90/100 models, is now available to anyone that has both Premium Package and Premium Leather seats. I am still awaiting delivery which should be...

Ultra White is now ventilated with Premium Package

Answered my question by calling the sales line. They said that since I ordered with the premium package and I had the premium leather I will now automatically get the ventilated seats! Yay! It's like Christmas all over again!

Ultra White is now ventilated with Premium Package

Can anyone confirm this? I really would like ventilated seats but I was told it was only available on P100D with Premium package. From the verbiage it appears to be paired with the Premium Seats now not just Performance models. I am expecting delivery at the end of this month.

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Sounds like a nice build out DIL. Did you also take advantage of a $1000 referral credit? If not you can use mine http://ts.la/alain5628 I wish I could justify the Grey Turbine wheels on my order but $4500 was really pushing my build outside of the "reasonably priced" category.

    The reasonably* priced Model S

I contacted my DS and he confirmed that there was no change to the I received a reply from my DS and apparently there has been no change to the ventilated seats. This is still a feature that will only be added if you have ordered Premium Package on a 90D or better (60/75 will not get...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

I e-mailed my DS about this since I have Premium package and my car has not gone into production yet. I am hoping that their are no hoops to jump through to get it. Price is exactly the same as before.

    100d is coming soon

I'd be irritated if they introduced the ventilated seats before my delivery but after the final change window. I would have opted for ventilated seating if it were an option on the smaller battery Model S. Wasn't the upgraded MCU a part of the APE (Autopilot Enhanced) announcement? They needed...

Autopilot invoice code for new cars

Thanks, I see it in the options code in the URL. I was expecting to see some other design build sheet.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Likely, I wanted to see if it was something they did by request or if it was overall productions were being pushed back. I would love to have my new car for 1/1/17 but waiting is no big deal either.

Autopilot invoice code for new cars

Might be a newb question, but where are you finding option codes? When I look at my spec sheet it does not provide me with option codes. Just short descriptions of each option and price. And the Spec Sheet is a generated PDF.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

My order confirmation locked in on Oct 21 @ 11:59pm PDT and I had a delivery date of Dec. I told my DS I didn't want to receive my vehicle before 1/1/17 for tax purposes (so I could use the tax credit in tax year 2017). So a few days later I saw late Dec-Jan 2017 as my estimated delivery date. I...

Autopilot invoice code for new cars

Prior to it being upgraded my spec sheet said Autopilot Hardware 1 and the price of $3000 so it is properly reflected in my build.

Autopilot invoice code for new cars

I received an e-mail to add EAP a day after my order confirmation (10/22) and this afternoon (10/26) my order now reflects Autopilot Convenience Features @ $5000. If your order is in production or just completed with the old hardware it took 4 days for the change to be reflected on the build. I...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Thanks and that's why I put together this thread. It's cool what you chose to go with for options. I don't think there's a right or wrong with any choice. I have kids and having a large hatch open and closing automatically is a luxury I chose as a necessity, air quality is also important to me...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Yes. From the menu on the test vehicle it was set to 75D for AWD, but when I wanted to test RWD my DS changed performance to 70. He said I would be able to switch between 60D and 60 mode.

AP 2.0 at AP 1.0 price?

I spoke to my DS and it's just the way it shows up on the system. All Teslas in production today and in the production pipeline as early as 10/10/2016 would have the new hardware. You will be software locked to AP 1 features and capabilities (e.g. no traffic speed matching, no auto freeway exit...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

My original delivery time based off of the order was going to be Dec. I asked to push it to Jan 2017 earliest because I won't be able to take the tax credit in 2016. I had a tax credit carryover from 2015 for my 7.83kW solar system. I figured if I was only able to use 1/2 of my solar credit and...
  28. J

    The reasonably* priced Model S

That sounds like a great deal, esp, for only 300 miles. Still, I would argue that @130k it's sort of disqualified from the "reasonably priced" Model S conversation but it certainly qualifies for a "good price" conversation. I didn't really consider used because I wanted the newer body style, I...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

I did not, from all the reviews I was reading the sound is better because of the sub but it's not a phenomenal system. I also listed to it in the showroom and I tried 5 different genres and I found the mids to be very muddy, highs weren't exceptional and the bass was a significant improvement...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

So my order is officially confirmed and I have a VIN now! I also have a referral if anyone would like $1000 off their order. Please send me a PM if you are interested. AP 2.0 at AP 1.0 price?

I spoke to my DS this afternoon and he confirmed what is being said on here. I could opt to upgrade to AP2 for the difference of the current order price, my order is still not locked until tomorrow 11:59pm PDT, so at this point change fee does not apply to me. But I'm sure for this feature for...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

So I went back to the dealer yesterday to try out the RWD vs AWD and unfortunately, they don't physically carry a RWD test drive vehicle at the location I go to. They cheaped out by doing a software trick to disable the front motor by switching from 75D mode to 70 mode. So I don't think I really...
  33. J

    The reasonably* priced Model S

So the D vs Rear wheel continues. When I test drove the 75D and "punched it" to pass some Semi's on the I-5 I didn't notice any whine. Mind you, my current daily is a tuned Honda Accord with a Greddy Exhaust, so there are very few vehicles that are quieter than mine on a daily commute. I'll...
  34. J

    The reasonably* priced Model S

So I placed my order finally. 7 days and then no turning back! I decided to go with the D because the cost differential over the life of the loan wasn't a significant amount. And if I chose to sell my car in the future or upgrade, I know I won't recoup $5000 entirely, but perhaps it's a bit...
  35. J

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Cost isn't a significant factor but options can always creep up. I really want the new body style and since this is my treat to myself I kind of want it new. I will be willing to get a CPO for a secondary vehicle. Actually am considering it for getting out of my MB GL550 once CPO X's are available.

    The reasonably* priced Model S

This is all great feedback and I am glad that this community is so great at participating and helping out. I think I'm going to stick with red as my color, though my wife doesn't like as much as other reds. I've owned a silver car forever and i want a different color scheme, but I still really...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Thanks, I'm sure you guys do. And $600/month for 24 is an awesome deal! I am positioning myself to take delivery in 2017 because I can't use the tax credit this year. I already have carry-over from my solar project that I have to use this year or lose it. I'm looking at the Model S to be owned...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't know that the Frunk was standardized to the smaller size regardless of the motors. I don't care for XM Sat Radio so it's not much of an up-sell. As for the Pano roof, I suppose it's not as impressive as the X having a sweeping front glass bubble, but I like the...

    The reasonably* priced Model S

Hi there, I am placing my order this week to take advantage of the referral discount that ends 10/15 that a friend of my provided me. I know a lot of people post a lot of things about getting the fastest best Model S available out there, but I never found a good post about someone looking for...
