    2019.40.2.3 for AP1 cars

it's downloading right now, but I'm reluctant to install it, isn't the one right before (40.2.2) the one that breaks autopilot? (in Europe) I'm on 40.2.1 ATM and have a long trip coming up tomorrow. (already scared of what I'll see at the first supercharger stop) edit: 2015 p85d here

Massive Price reduction???, Germany, 99k Ludicrous?

wow, in Switzerland the p100d is now 112k CHF according to the website. And Ludicrous mode doesn't appear to be unbundled (so included in the price). Last I checked it was 140k or something like that??

7 years later what is your 100% on your 85kWh battery?

2015 p85d, switzerland (not quite EU ;), nearing 100k on the odo 100% range used to be a little above 400, dropped to 383-386 after the first winter (SC said will recover once it gets warm again, never happened), now it fluctuates around 373-376 . Actually just climbed to 378 yesterday (90%...

    P85D -> P100D upgrade decision...

I'm pretty sure there is a way of upgrading the P85D to P100D by swapping out the battery. (plus some software work of course). Tesla most likely won't offer that, but I'd expect it's already being done by people. I have 70kkm until extended warranty is over, then I'll probably be looking into...

Want a Model S Estate... Your dream may come true

If this was a factory option if would have made the perfect car even perfecter. This mod will probably be too pricey and too inconvenient for me to consider, otherwise I'd have done it in a heartbeat.

New "Chill / Normal" acceleration modes?

So the next logical step should be the "Thrill" mode - switch off the front motor (that's for us D drivers)

    Thoughts On "Pseudo-Badging"

Removing is basically a combination of hair dryer to heat up and soften the glue on the double-sided tape and dental floss to pry the tape away under the badges. Some sort of glue remover is good afterwards to clean the residue. (I actually went ahead an machine polished the spot but that's...

    Slipstream painted lip

that lip is something that's been always annoying me. I wanted to replace my old base 19's with the slipstreams (and keep the old for winter tires) but after I noticed that lip I held off. I was also thinking of dipping it or something - it does look much better, even with the sharpie. Also all...

New layout in Tesla Design Centre

Maybe it's exchange rate adjustments of some sort? The prices in Switzerland keep going up, for the price we paid in 2015 for a P85D you cannot get a 90D with equivalent options

P100D and P85D CAN bus data compared for 0-60

Very interesting data, thanks! Concerning the part below 30mph - is there a weight difference? Does the p85d have the pano roof (the 100 doesn't appear to have it in the pic but maybe I'm seeing wrong)?

    Decreasing P85D range

hmm looks like ours has lost more range than most, June 2015 P85DL, currently approaching 40000km charges to 347/383 at 90/100% (that would be 215/240 miles). (that's all with range mode on) When new it was more like 238/252 miles. It fell last Winter, the SC said that it should recover in the...

Plasti dip side skirts and front lip

Nice work on the white! I'm actually thinking of doing the opposite and getting all the lower plastics gloss black (the car is MC red). Not a huge fan of how the body-colored parts look on facelift cars
