    Cannot clear TMPS warning

Your picture shows that the tires are not at 42 psi. 41 will not clear the warning. Fill your tires to 42 and then drive ten minutes.

    I can't locate a very annoying rattle.

I had a similar rattle from the rear passenger side when driving over pumps. mine was the plastic inside the wheel well over the back side of right rear wheel. When parked I could walk over and push it with my hand and it would move about a cm and then contact the body I guess. Then when I...

Rapid discharge while parked at airport, how to contact a human for help?

It already exists. power off the car from the screen that will shut down all the extra stuff. And stop opening the app to wake the car up. Plus when it gets below 20% the idle power usage is ramped down significantly. The car software doesn’t want the battery to drain to zero either.

Battery drain while parked or car in storage

In that situation I would ask a friend to come drive my car once a month to the supercharger and charge it to 80% then take it back to where I parked it. Or park it at someone else’s house (friend/family) where it could get plugged into a standard outlet from time to time to charge. Or leave...

How do you clear tpms error?

Then you inflated all four to the correct psi. The people who only inflate one tire will continue to see the warning as one of the other tires is out of the pressure zone. You just gotta set all four correctly.

How do you clear tpms error?

Your tire pressure is too low. Inflate all four tires to 45 PSI. The error message will clear after driving for about 3 minutes.

How long will cabin pre-heating stay enabled?

If your car is plugged in, and you intentionally turned on the heat (or AC) then it staying on for four hours is perfectly reasonable. You turned it on, you should turn it off, or wait for the timeout. If it was not plugged in, then all the more reason for you to pay attention to your power...

Is there a recommended windshield washer fluid?

Am I the only one that is against colors in my windshield fluid? The blue dries on my white car. So I’ve gone to a regular colorless and it’s great.

Electricity too expensive with PGE for EVs

Keep your current plan. Never charge your car between 3-8pm. What is your cost for power from 1-4am? That’s when the grid is least stressed and you should’ve charging at the lowest rates in most TOU plans. (Generalizing)

Rip rap kills my Model 3 battery and tire/wheel assembly

Diminished value is claimed against the at fault person in an accident. If someone had hit your car and caused damage then you can fight for diminished value. Their negligence caused your car to be worth less than before. In this case I don’t see that being possible to receive.

Stealth Hitch - nits and picks

What kind of trailer are you hauling with your 3? It makes sense that the chains would be kind of hard to attach with the hitch hidden that far under the car. But for I frequent use that seems like a decent trade off.

    Pearl White Standard Paint?

This is great news. I have a pearl white that I bought in September. Now I know there will be more painted parts available for my car. New parts or wrecked car parts. Should be plenty available. Awesome! If I was concerned about my car being a special color then I certainly would have it...

Caught on Model 3 dashcam, what is this mystery car?

Looks like a Lykan Hypersport. But not the kind of car I would expect to see on the highway in traffic. Maybe a kit car that is meant to look like one.

25 minute hold for emergency roadside service

Most car insurance now includes road side service. I would have called my insurance company roadside service after five minutes of being on hold. Bonus being that my car insurance roadside service has GPS tracking so you can see that the truck is really coming to you.

    Navigation “jumping” directions

It’s the direction that is changing. Not the location. Something is up with the compass of the car. But I think it is software related. I have had the same thing occur now that I’m on 2019.16.12. Report it as a bug using the voice control.

    Mounting EZPass under trunk vent?

That looks just like the EzTags we use in Texas. I'd love for it to be in the frunk instead of on my window. Our parking garage also reads it so that's an easy way for me to test the scanning.

    Insurance for overnight test drive

Have a good friend In the same state? Have them add you to their policy for one of their vehicles. Then they drop you from the policy after the test drive. Their premium will increase then decrease. You owe them a few bucks for the time you were on the policy.

Clunking sound is costing me a bundle to fix out of warranty

Agree, considering they are not sure these parts are "broken" you should have them return the two half shafts they remove from the car since they are worth $1800 new. You might be able to sell them and recoup a little of that cost.

    ChargePoint and PlugShare Experience

How is the free charging at work going? My office is thinking of installing chargers and the debate of whether they will be free or cheap electricity. We can get cheaper units that don't have metering or the more expensive chargepoint units that have a lot of control of who can use them.

    Extend Cabin Overheat Protection

Valet at any of the big hotels is in a garage. So temp should be more like 95 without any outside intervention. Valet Almost always uses the lower floors of a parking structure for speed and easy access for them. Login remotely and check the temps. I'm curious.

Valet parking at supercharger doesnt really help.

I'm confused when you say there is a valet helping. When I think valet, I think of a guy who everyone gives their keys to and he is in charge of the cars and their parking and in this special case, their charging. So he can be moving cars that are done charging ? If he's not moving the cars...

Did anyone else get the call: "Reaching out to early adopters"?

My Audi dealer sends me a trade in and trade up offer in the email and paper mail every six months. They use the service history of the cars and send us a soft trade in price. It's not a phone call though. I find phone calls about anything far more intrusive than email or paper mail.

    Trunk/Boot Charging Hack?

I don't see how a electric cord from a 5th floor apartment, over a tree, and connected to a car in any fashion is going to be discreet. Might be easier to find an exterior outlet on the building and get permission from the management to charge for a few bucks cash. "My car needs about $6 in...

Should I pursue this charging method patent?
