Make sure you're on medium ride height - not low. This makes a big difference IMO, but the car will never ride like a BMW or Mercedes. Not sure why the German cars just feel better. Poor ride quality is my #1 complaint about any Tesla I've owned.

I'm just saying it's not crazy to try to install PPF yourself. I've even painted portions of my cars myself (with zero experience) and it turned out nice. Your PPF guy sounds good though. My PPF installer was also very good, but the film itself seems lacking.

Oh I thought you meant physically somehow. My suspension settings don't persist but maybe you have to be in track mode for that? For example, if I want to keep the suspension high, it won't do that beyond 35mph.

Likening installing PPF to implanting a pacemaker is non-sensical. One requires years of competitive training and licensure, the other, minimal training and no certifications. How about ceramic coating? The going rate to do that is $800-$1000, but it's easy to do oneself in a few hours.

With the 19" wheels you're good for 300 miles. I'm thinking about 350 Wh/mi compared to 300 Wh/mi for MS.

How about brake feel and linearity, pedal travel, etc? The stock are just inadequate for my driving, I have to get on the brakes a lot harder and sooner than any other Tesla I've had.
