I have the capability to get in line early due to my friend. Tesla allows this if he orders it. I am in no way "unfairly" cutting in front like a grocery store. I have the ability to do such within the rules Tesla has provided.

I think you are right. AP 2 uses 8 cameras. The newest added are the 3 in the front, 2 for the turning signal indicators, and 2 for the pillars, which is 7 in total. The only other is the rear facing. Not sure why I thought that it doesn't :)

I'm not sure about the rear, but AP 2 is currently not slated to use the rear camera.

All the cameras on AP 2 equipped cars have heaters to melt away any ice/snow that is covering them.
