    17.26.76 New Update

I did get video and have an appointment Monday. It resolved after a few days, but I need a FWD serviced anyways, so I'll share the video with a tech and hope they can look at the logs the I filed as well.

    17.26.76 New Update

This is definitely not road conditions. The same behavior happens on all roads, all lanes, all lighting conditions. I see multiple Teslas every day here, so if our roads had some special sauce screwing this up other's would have reported as well. It's also interesting that the vehicle knows...

    17.26.76 New Update

I was loving the newest firmware (17.26.76) until the auto steering behavior changed. Now, the car keeps the right side tires a few inches into the next lane. Interestingly, the car is aware of it's position, correctly indicating that it is over the line in the dashboard display. I've already...

    17.26.76 New Update

Additional details: There is a section of road on which the posted limit is 45 and the car limits auto steer to 50. There are segments before and after this section in which the posted limit is the same but the AP does not enforce this limit. It seems to be geofenced, not sure why. There are...

    17.26.76 New Update

Just finished first test with 17.26.76. Braking is more worrisome. Had to override once when it seemed confused by stopped cars in a slight curve. Seemed to accelerated briefly during braking at other times. Comes much closer to the stopped car at higher speeds before getting to a stop. The...

    286 wh/mi @ 65mph, is this reasonable?

Update: I drove 72 miles of highway at an average speed of 77.5mph and a max speed of 85mph. The energy usage for the trip was 342wh/mi and again this was a round-trip style with the start and end location being the same. For this trip, I used battery state and distance to calculate wh/mi...

    286 wh/mi @ 65mph, is this reasonable?

I just ran a test to see what energy efficiency my Model X achieves at 65mph (to get more accurate estimates from abetterrouteplanner.com). I love the results, but they seem significantly different from what others have reported. Can someone with more experience weigh in on whether these...

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

My mixed use average at 2,000 miles is 333wH/mi in an X75D with 20" tires. I just did a 160 mile round trip from Denver to Silverthorn at got 302 wH/mi with an average speed of 67mph. Up the mountain was 372 wH/mi at average speed 62mph and back down was 231 wh/mi at 72mph. Weather was ~70f...

which nozzle on pressure washer to clean MX?

I use electric with 40 as well. Make sure to stay a few feet away from the paint (a bit hard for the roof) as the output is very powerful. I slipped once and a finger got in the stream for a split second; the part that went in the stream was gone. Even at 40 degrees, if you get too close...

    Software Update 17.17.4

I'll test just as soon as I get the update. I've got a local road 1 mile from home with about 500 ft of incorrect speed limit and a highway 10 miles away that has multi-mile stretches with the wrong limit detected.

#29 How to use Autopilot without touching the wheel

Has anyone experimented with how much weight is required vs how much to override? I'd like to design an elegant solution for this and don't have the numbers.

Quality of Model X deliveries - March 2017

Picked up in Denver, CO this morning. Black 75D. Paint and alignment were perfect. All systems worked when tested. We took a few minutes trying to figure out why the doors didn't close on walk-away, but that's a PUP feature that I didn't order. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

What did you name your model X?

    Picking up Serenity today.

Alliant Credit Union 1.49% for 72 months

TechCU is doing 1.49% for 60 months with good credit. You can become a member even if you don't live in the area by joining another group for $8. Timing is a bit tight to get that all done by 3/31, but for a half percent it might be worth pushing back delivery. As others pointed out, if you...

2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

Spoke with DS today. 3/29/17 is now scheduled delivery. MyTesla still shows 'In Production' but DS says his side indicates 'ready for transit'. That makes Production Time and Transit Time both 7 days.

2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

Production: 3/20/17 (per email) Estimated delivery: 3/29/17 - 4/12/17 (per mytesla as of 3/22/17)

Alliant Credit Union 1.49% for 72 months

I had a similar experience, with TechCU being the best offer but not automatically submitted. Tesla needs to improve transparency on this particular issue. A likely reason for the 31% vs 19% is the Debt-to-Income ratio. I know that TechCU uses 45% which is on the high end, while more...

2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

I can't imaging waiting to start driving while they wait for a replacement bumper to arrive. That said, don't sign the paperwork until you have their proposed fix in writing. Your DS wants to make things right, but if they are suggesting something against policy and you have nothing in writing...

Alliant Credit Union 1.49% for 72 months

My team writes the software for doing this type of credit pull. It is not unusual to pull all three scores and then take the lowest when underwriting a loan. It IS unusual to have scores that far apart, probably a good idea to check your own credit report for fraud with that big of a spread.

2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

Alliant Credit Union 1.49% for 72 months

Tesla didn't respond to the request, but TechCU responded to my direct application (using the link provided earlier in this thread). TechCU approved at 10% down (didn't ask for 0%, others seem to get that and TechCU says it's possible) for 1.74% @ 72mo. Interestingly, this is valid for 60-days.

Alliant Credit Union 1.49% for 72 months

Just got offered 1.99/72 from TD Bank via Tesla. Asked Tesla to specifically apply to TechCU, waiting for response.

    Financing - non-Alliant options?

Forgot to mention, the approval is valid for 60-days. The rate might only be 30-day lock, I never got a confident answer on that.

    Model X March 2017 Deliveries

I'm right there with you, waiting is though. My order was 12/23 and still waiting to hear it entered production.

    Financing - non-Alliant options?

Spoke with TechCU today, call was escalated twice to get answers to some of my questions. 60mo @ 1.49% and 72mo @ 1.74% are available for Tesla loans (these rates aren't on the site). They allow 100% of the vehicle price (tax and registration cannot be financed). DTI threshold is 45%, although...

How long to receive estimated delivery date?

I was assured that if you placed your order in time (as you did) and delivery is delayed by Tesla, you will still get the unlimited super charging.
