I should have made it clearer. I can make it through peak no problem just not 100% self powered most of the time. During summer and off times when I have more solar I can be 100% self powered it is just during the winter months where I am around 60% to 70% self powered.

I have seen guys do extended off grid testing if you have enough solar and battery to disconnect yourself from the grid. I have a “friend” that is doing that now while “they” are waiting for PTO. Like what was said above try not to send power to the provider.

Just got off the phone with Tesla and the person says that they can't change the system without revising the permit and that would delay the installation. They would have to talk with their Manager and find out what that would take and how long that would delay the installation.

Just a heads up there needs to be a transformer on the pad behind the switch gear prior to any power being turned on. See photo for location.

Well the fences are down and I tried to charge today but nothing. Then looked behind the switchgear and found that they are missing the transformer. Looks to be soon depending on PG&E.

As of yesterday the fence was still up and looked like they where still missing a few items like guts of a panel and light pole. I will keep a eye out since I drive by there everyday.
