I think he/she is SOL. Car is only a 2017, but has 75,000 miles. If Canada is anything like the US, his warranty is good up to 50,000 miles, battery excepted.

Slight non sequitur - these "noise reduction kits" for the Model 3 are ubiquitous on the internet. Have similar kits been made for the Model S and Model X? My Model X could definitely use any help in road and wind noise reduction.
