Push the right scroll wheel (3/Y) or the right top button (S/X). Do most 3/Y owners have no idea they could do that?

They're useful on long supercharging sessions or while waiting for someone in the car (like your kid's 45 minute soccer/piano/swimming lesson). That's not the priority I would've given to overall development, but then I don't imagine they have that many people focused on ports to begin with.

The battery icon used to change color as your charge got lower - green>yellow>red, at least on the S/X. Does it still do that?

Nope, it's a completely pointless change. Those icons and text labels are located under the left and right widgets, so any potential space saved would not be used for FSD visualizations anyway.

My guess almost 25% smaller for the top icons (headlights, warnings, autopilot, etc) and bottom row (PRND, battery, clock, etc). The speed display font appears both slightly smaller and lighter weight. Road markings when driving are super dim in night mode, I could barely see them at all.

He's actually right. Just installed 48.26, and they have noticeably reduced icon and font sizes on the instrument cluster in S/X. Things are hard to see now. Do they realize the majority of S/X demographic likely suffers from age induced farsightedness?

Have you ever noticed this angled piece of trim on the front seat rails? It's sharp! We've managed to scratch several pairs of shoes with these corners. Anyone else has this problem? We're tempted to cut it and smooth the edges around it.

Be patient. Ours was just over $60K USD, which is a healthy 40% off a similarly equipped new 100D (and that's after the last month's price drop). They're out there!

We've also just picked up a CPO 2016 X90D three months ago. November 2016 build, AP2+EAP, unlimited supercharging. Delivery took 2.5 weeks, very easy and straightforward, traded in our P85. So far so good, a noticeable improvement over an old Model S.

We also use it quite often to roll the X out of the garage. Works reliably, no issues at all. If only it could also unplug the charger... Usually you start by standing next to the garage door, so the phone connects pretty much immediately. Although I once tried to summon it from the living room...

Except you can't compare it to the base 3. The Y is likely to have dual motors standard, with at least a mid-range battery to compensate for the added weight. So the base Y would probably come just under the dual motor 3. Think 60K CAD and up.

Not all door openers actually need the "learn" phase. Our old Chamberlain did, while the newer Skylink ATOMS just works after a simple remote pairing at the front bumper. The X seems to have a weaker Homelink signal than the S. Our old S easily opened the garage while approaching the driveway...
