The problem of adding new sensors isn't the cost - its the wiring and time it will take to add them and maybe replacements of old body panels that aren't compatible with the sensors...

True I have heard that Tesla runs a very highly customized version of that software or they use their own in house software and it is very possible that it might not behave in the same ways as shown in that short demo.

I'm pretty sure AP2 can distinguish between bicyclists, and motorcycles it just seems they haven't started rendering them on the dashboard just yet. (skip to 4:57 to see how the PX2 sees the world)

Well at least the BUC does get very dirty even after one drive in the rain, snow, slush, and worst in the salt. The worst part about salt is that it dries white onto the camera. If it is water it just leaves behind a ring you can wipe off later.

It sounds like once it becomes a bigger problem (especially backup camera) someone can retrofit something to clean?

But if you think about it they have such a huge incentive to finish it on time (but even if not with this hardware) the ride-sharing aspect is undeniable - if they get it to market they'll be banking. And a plus is that if they use current hardware they already have a bunch of cars they sold...

Find your closest level 2 charger or destination charger using PlugShare - and if you are really desperate check plugshare if anyone is willing to allow you to use their tesla home charger. It also would be great if you had your j1772 adapter - if you don’t then look for a tesla plug.

Correct me if I am wrong but don't facelift ap2 cars have the radar under the Tesla logo? And at least for me I didn't see the snow getting in there and blocking it yet. I can see it being a problem during slush driving though - water resistant spray on the radar?

I'm having all the same problems as you guys but it also keeps rebooting itself - it happens at least 3-5 times a drive. It's super annoying.
