The V2 in Charleston still sees some traffic. No longer full with cars waiting to charge, but not empty during the day either. Marmet may cut the Charleston traffic a bit. Also, Marmet is a good point to charge up for a trip into the eastern West Virginia mountains via US Rt. 60.

I was trying to figure out just why there was an empty lot on the river available for constructing a Supercharager station and a truck stop. I went used Google maps "View over time", looking back at the land use over the last 50 years, and it appears that area was used to tie up coal barges...

The existing gas station is 10410 MacCorkle Ave, but the empty lot that the supercharger is being built on may have a slightly different address. A truck stop is being built on the same lot.

Lewisburg is open. Both Supercharge.info and Tesla.com/charging showing open. Probably opened today. This brings the total number of Supercharger stations in West Virginia to 14. With two more in planning.

I have a report of a fellow Tesla driver that this Supercharger is 100% out of service today, and the station also shows as down in his car.

I don't think Tesla upgrades very many V2 to V3. Sometimes they add V3s to an original V2 location, like Waco, Texas or Green River, Utah. The new V3 Supercharger at Princeton, WV should address the need for charging at the Travel Plazas. And the coming V3 at Marmet, WV will be another boost...

I should have looked at a map. Flatwoods is north of Sutton. I had it stuck in my head the order of towns going north on the old road (which I used to bicycle decades ago) as Gassaway, Flatwoods, Sutton and Heaters. But it isn't. Its's Gassaway, Sutton, Flatwoods and Heaters. Arrgh!

This sign is posted at the Weston Supercharger. The clerk inside the store said the Supercharger will be closing as well as the store. I wonder if there is any way to confirm this closing with Tesla.
