In AZ, you do not pay sales tax on private party sales. You do pay sales tax (8-9%) if buying from a dealer.

Because I am not registering the car in AZ. Most states as you know, will require tax on top of the $142K. AZ is one of the very few that will not. And please explain how I would be saving $10K even if I was registering the car in AZ? The MSRP on this car is $132K.

My statement was I can get a new Plaid delivered in December. If I wanted white interior, yes it would be in March. My point was white is not worth $10K to me.

Respectfully no one is interested because it is $20K over priced. You can get new fully loaded 2018 P100DL inventory cars in the high $80K range excluding the fed rebate. $95K or anything close to that is not going to happen. Just being straight with you.

Got the final approved quote ....Can't lease it but am going to buy it. I am still working with them to take out the 21s and add back in FSD as it is only $3K.

Just got an 1800 mile inventory P100D with ludicrous for $80K inclusive of $3750 tax rebate. Car had MSRP of $142K (with today's pricing like $125K). The inventory deals are out there and with free ludicrous with current Tesla owners, they are steals.
