My take is that it's 100% about delivery time. They'll have production lines devoted to these 3 configurations- any customizations that go outside these configurations will add to delivery time?

It won't show a production date, but it will tell you when your vehicle enters production. The text snippet that says something along the lines of "Your vehicle is in the production queue blabla" will change to something like "Your vehicle is currently under production at the factory in Fremont".

I was trying to speak more to the value of the stock liftgate than the merits of an aftermarket one. I don't know that I'd want to jump into after market solutions right out of the gate either.

My DS confirmed that we would be getting the power liftgate. Were you still in your 7 day window when the price change hit, or had your order already been confirmed?

I think he's worried about the Model 3 effecting demand for the S. It's something I was concerned about too... but at the end of the day I figure nobody buys a MS because it's a wise financial decision.

It shows on my "View Spec" but not on the purchase agreement in My Tesla as well. The Showroom Discount was included as a separate line item in the updated Pro Forma my DS sent over this afternoon.

Price just updated! "Showroom Discount" was applied for $6500 ($5k price difference + $1500 for Glass Roof).

I e-mailed my DS today who replied with this: "I spoke with our order ops team who informed me the price should be updated in the next few days. I will be sure to send you an updated pro-forma once it is available."

This is cool, but with battery production ramping up so quickly via gigafactories etc, can't we expect significant drops in price/value for batteries over the next 10 years?

SAS,charger upgrade and solid roof are no longer available for the 60/75. We can either choose the old price (and $2k for 75 upgrade) or new configuration package.

I called in, and they said the "pricebook" would be updated after the order was finalized. They instructed me to choose the options I wanted (and not to choose SAS or charger upgrade/solid roof obviously), and to expect the price update within a few days of order lock in.

I'm still in my 7 day window, but just got off the phone with Tesla and they're having me update my order from 60 S to 75 S- they'll apply the new pricing sometime after my window has expired apparently.

I'm stoked for the price drop for the 75, but in a weird way I'm disappointed that the liftgate is standard nowo_O - I wanted the lighting/additional features but I just can't justify $3,500 for a few LED lights and a $750 biodefense/HEPA system.

Just ordered last week, still have time to change: I'm having trouble justifying 3500 for a few minor cosmetic tweaks and Bioweapon Defense Mode ($750 if they ever release retroactive HEPA for Model S?). Am I missing something? How much of a difference does the PUP offer? Convince me! Thanks...

I ordered my S 60 on Friday. I'm going to feel insanely silly trading in the beater I was commuting with before for this thing. Still in 7 day period, but delivery should be June.
