My issue is the opposite. In my S, the volume resets to 8 every time my phone gets an alert of any kind. The most frustrating part is that it happens only half of the time so I forget about it and then get blasted with a chime at 8 volume and almost crap my pants while driving.

The latest Tesla iPhone app (3.3.2) has removed the 30 minute preconditioning limit so that it will work similar to the new Climate Control option in the cabin. Anyone try it yet?

Same issue here on a new Model S. It happened the first time I used the wipers in the rain and still does. Outside of the car it definitely sounds like Ike something more than the blades on glass. Going to ask SC about it next time I’m in.

I ordered by 75D MS on 4/4 with a "May - Eary June" delivery. I went back and forth on it and then finally opted for SAS instead of UHFS. A week after the order was confirmed I tried to add in the UHFS but it was too late. I'm a little worried the sound is going to be really bad. We shall see!
